Location: Canada | Fallon T also ran Dr Nick Bar at the finals, or should I say had him at the finals. Dr Nick Bar is the sire of Two world champions- Sugar Moon Express (2008 & 2011) and Flos Heiress (2014)- Which in itself is extremely impressive. |

| Here is a not so fun fact. I can't get the NFR on anything, Fire TV, cell phone, tablet. Best I could do was PRORODEOTV.COM. Since I don't live in Canada, I will have to wait 12 hours till it is streamed. Ugh guess that is better than nothing. |

| JETONFORPAY was at the NFR twice with 2 different jockeys. 1985 Martha Josey took him as her back up horse and ran him. 1987 Betty Roper qualified on him and ran him at the NFR. Betty actually trained him for Linda Sullivan who futuried him and Betty went on and ran him as a derby horse Martha borrowed him to take with her in 85. Linda sold him in 88 and shortly after he was snake bitten and passed away. He was a son of Jets Pay Day..

I wonder what horse carried the most jockeys to the NFR?
I was thinking of Rare Dillon - he carried three that I remember.
Eagle (cant remember his registered name) carried two.
Dinero I know Tammy ran once but was Sherri's backup that year.
Sierra Hall Of Fame was Eagle's name and he qualififed with Kassidy Dennison and Kellie Collier although I think Kellie used him sparringly.
Dash Ta Diamonds (Arson) qualified Carlee Pierce but she ended up running Streakin Easy April that year who was later bought by Kellie Collier who also qualified on her. Arson later ran with Sherry but was Callie's backup when she won on Dillion. I can't think of a horse that's carried 3 jockeys to the NFR other than Dillon.
Dudes Compadre carried Angie Meadors and Kay Blandford to NFRs
Heza Bug Leo was hauled and run by Angie Meadors and Jana Bean
Dillion sure is an incredible animal. 3 jockeys to the NFR as their main mount! 3 for Arson but he was more of a backup horse then. Carlee Pierce mare Lola maybe?... I believe also went to Jana Bean in a prior year?? |

| Another fun one is the Wright Family. Rusty(saddlebronc), Ryder (sadlebronc), and Stetson (bull riding) are brothers. All competing this year. also... Jesse & Spencer (both Saddle Bronc) are brothers, and uncles to the 3 fellas above. Talk about a legacy! |

Bareback rider Caleb Bennett and I were high school team roping partners.
I'll never forget that weekend in St George when they rushed him out of there because that bull stepped on his throat.
Yup. It broke his arm also. That was Friday, we turned out that saturday for obvious reasons. What year did you graduate?
If I remember right he made 2 trips to the hospital that day. I graduated in 2006. . |

| Martha Josey qualified for the NFR four decades. She was trying for 5 but there was a gate malfunction in Austin and Red Man Bay fell. Martha got her head on concrete and I didn't think she was going to make out of that one. That finished her off for the year but tough old Martha was very lucky. She recovered just fine. She is one tough old gal! |

This happen to Martha again?!!!! In 2001 at the ANHA Shootout or NBHA state finals in 1999 I cant remember which one in Austin, this happen to her, someone didnt shut the gate behind her when she went in for her run and she could not shut her horse down coming out of the arena, she and horse hit the concrete hard. Was a scary thing.. |

| This happened the PRCA rodeo probably 15 years ago. Martha has had so many bad horse wrecks I can't count them all. She is like a Timex. Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. She is a tough one. |

| If your talking more than just barrels I dont think any horse got more people to the NFR than Cassidy's Willie. He was one bad a$$ dogging horse. I miss watching him make runs. Money shot every time. |

Wasn't there a calf roping horse that made a lot more of runs for numerous guys? Seems my brain is saying Pearl??
Are there any horses that qualified in more than one event? |

| Jill Moody borrowed and ran Chasin Firewater at the NFR in 2011, and now Brittney has Babe on the Chase who's a daughter of his. Mulberry Canyon Moon ran and Sharpie has been there with Stevi a time or two. Didn't Angie Meadors have Heza Bug Leo at the NFR, and also Janna Bean? |
