Location: Arkansas | Thank each and every one of you for thinking of and praying for me--it worked and I'm doing well! I am sore but not hurting--Nevertooold told me it wouldn't be nearly as bad as I was anticipating, and she was right. I'm walking and moving, tho slowly! PT starts tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to getting the thigh-to-toes bandage off and seeing my knee! And a bath, oh my!! I do know a knee replacement is in my future (damage from my wreck, age, this leg doing double the work, and last incident when the meniscus tear happened), but I'm just gonna see how I feel in a few weeks and worry about the other later! L, Sean is doing great--he's feeding me and waiting on me, etc! (We won't tell him, but I may milk this for all I'm worth .) Kindaclassy, thank you for your kind words. . . I so looked forward to getting back on here to check in with all my sweet buddies. Miss Mary, I had the PM problems too for awhile. And Madredpeanut had/has them too. Don't know what the problem is. (I still can't access the emoticons page--I just figure I have bad tech vibes!!) I cannot make y'all know how much I truly appreciate my BHW family |

Don't even sweat the knee replacement. I had one on 9/23. Not too bad at all. The healing and rehab were not near as tuff as what I was dealing with before surgery. I wish I had done it long ago, but family obligations would not accomodate the down time. I was back in the barn doing chores at 4 weeks and released to ride at six weeks. Now three and a half month post surgery the knee is awesome!! |
