Location: Kansas | This movie is incredibly old but absolutely as good as it gets. I think it's from the 50's. " Friendly Persuasion" with Gary Cooper and Dorothy McGuire about a Quaker family during the Civil War. When it came out it was the talk of the town all across America. Shenandoah with Jimmy Stewart is pretty great too.

Location: Randolph, Utah | We watched Captain Phillips a few nights ago. I really liked it I'm sure Disney isn't your thing, but the new Aladdin is really good. Olympus, Angel and London has fallen with Gerard Butler are all good. The Heat and The Proposal with Sandra Bullock are always good for a laugh. If you've got a crude sense of humor Shameless is a good one, not a movie but it'll kill some time. Of course if you want to kill 12 or so hours you can watch Lonesome Dove, I choose to skip the snake part. . . I've been following this thread pretty close. If this weather doesn't break and we stay grounded I'm going to need lots to watch. |

| Miracle of the White Stallions. (Sometime in the late 60's). Take note of the political situation in the movie. On Netflix
Shindler's List. I watch this every year at Christmas. Keeps me humble. Good movie.
Bernie comedy about a murder that happened 10 miles from me! Mathew McConaughy and Jack Black. True story..funny The Man Who Broke 1,000 Chains. This is more of a drama. It was filmed down at the end of the road I live on which happens to be a dead end. If you had to go somewhere, you had to wait for them to stop filming. It was made for HBO. |

Location: Montgomery TX | We recently watched the Maze Runner series part 1&2 and I guess we are going to need to find the 3rd one somewhere - I can't believe I enjoyed it! LOL it kept my husband and I on the edge of our seats. When the first one was over - we were like we gotta watch the next one! The Hitman's bodyguard - funny and action packed Sylvester - really old movie about a feed yard bronc turned grand prix jumper. If you can find it, its a good one. Homeland - Jason Statham movie - action packed American Sniper - Chris Kyle story - based on true events Zero Dark Thirty - search for Osama bin laden Lone Survivor - true Navy Seal story - Marcus Luttrell The Mustang - based on the prison horse program in Nevada - (not sure if it is based on true events or not) The Pacifier - big bad military dude babysitting kids while mom goes to business conference - just a cute, funny movie The night of the grizzly - old western type movie - just love it! 300 - Spartan war type movie The Last Samurai - Tom Cruise plays a military guy who embraces the samurai culture. Anne of Green Gables - classic - watch anytime movie All of the Rocky movies including Creed - for some reason i love them - even though they are kinda corny. LOL Book of Eli - its hard for me to describe without giving away the plot - its good - P.S I have no idea why there is all this blank space below my reply -

Location: My happy place | May I suggest: Outbreak The Andromedia Strain Michael Crighton the book is better but movie good The Stand Stephen King the book was better I hate to ruin a good thread but since the one discussing the virus is just bashing Joe Biden (who I said I didn't like) at a time like this. I think some need a wake up call. It's OK for anyone but me to discuss anything political or hyjack over politics. I'm truly not liking this wait and see, it's touching people I know.

| My all time fav.... Broken Trail. It is by far the best western I have watched. Has Robert Duvall and I love him as a cowboy. Iv watched it maybe 100 times :) Its not a movie, but on Netflix is The Office and I have seen that a million times. Still makes me laugh. Parks and recreation is good too. |

Bull Durham minus the R Rated scenes. Great movie. Of course you are a baseball family so you would appreciate it. |
