| I was reading thru some reviews online at Tractor supply on some chicken feed and came across a comment... the woman wrote "This isnt a review on the feed, but on the store itself, while I was sitting in my vehicle waiting for an employee to bring me my curbside order I noticed 3 people that walked into the store WITHOUT masks on, so I called the store and asked to speak to the manager, I told him that 3 people had walked into your store not wearing masks and that it needed to be handled before I made the call to the police myself, the manager rudely told me that if I wasnt inside his store then I shouldn't worry about it and he wasnt going to infringe of peoples rights and hung up". Lol!!! Some of the replies to her "review" was priceless... now that is a "Karen" I went to my tsc today and they had taken down the mask sign and just have a social distancing sign up... as per usual I walked in without one and had zero issue as did several folk . There was just as many that did have them on, and guess what... we all got along, got our items and went on our happy little ways. |

Location: Kansas | Our grocery store has a sign on the door that says you must wear a mask inside the store and yet the other day a couple of folks ahead of me were maskless. I think they may have been just daring someone to say something. No one did. The employees all look so miserable having to wear those things for 8 hours. I don't think Walmart will allow you in the door without a mask. They have cattle chutes and a ramrod closely watching the only entrance you're allow to use.

I agree this is mostly about compliance, since you can peacefully (I use that word with reservations)protest but not gather for church, a funeral.etc. RBG is having a funeral.....hum. I've just had enough of all this BS! |

Location: Texas | IDK what I think about the video honestly. First off, I think its pointless to wear a mask IF you are outside AND you CAN social distance yourself. BUT, I also comply with and follow local guidelines so if I went to an event that clearly said, if you are in the stands watching you need to wear a mask.. I would have worn one, or left when asked to leave. But thats just me. |

Location: Displaced Iowegian | This woman was not thumbing her nose at the State mask mandate but the SCHOOL'S RULES. School rules are put in place so that the students are "allowed" to HAVE games and activities. IF a parent does not want to follow those rules, then he/she should stay home. The only people that this type of behavior will affect, in the long run, will be the STUDENTS ..... when schools shut down activities. This woman was asked nicely several times to put on a mask or leave. It was HER decision to protest and throw a fit ..... it was HER decision to get her a$$ drug out of the stadium. IF she had a legitimate asthma problem, then she should have been able to produce her inhaler, etc. And the way she yelled, screamed and fought, there is no way that she is an asthma sufferer. Additionally, the same ones here (on BHW) who post that no one would get shot by police IF they only followed instructions are NOW making excuses for this idiot who FAILED to FOLLOW instructions...... hypocrisy? |

I went Tuesday to TSC to pick up horse feed and didn't think about a mask til I got there. So I called and was told masks were mandatory but they certainly weren't going to ask me to leave if I didn't have one! Most of the older people that came in had masks but probably 99 % of younger folks didn't wear one. I went in "naked". (If one is required I will either wear it or not go in that place.) Only 1 employee had a mask on and she took it off when she started helping me with my order. I truly appreciate the ability to make my own choice. Pray God that continues

But in light of the fact that this countrys response to this pandemic has reaped results worse than a third world country, I will suck it up and wear one of there is any chance it will help to save lifes. I find it interesting when people who claim to be all about the sanctity of life can't be minimally inconvenienced to try to save a few. |

Location: Sunny Florida | This is my two cents. If a store, business, event is requiring a mask than it's no different than a store that requires shoes and a shirt. Don't get the ass when the management tells you to either comply or leave. But I've lived in more than one country thAt it's considered bad form to not wear one when your sick or during cold season. But I'm also the person that thinks that if your kid is sick you keep them home and it's not the schools job to babysit your dismounts and when your sick you stay home so you don't infect everyone around you. There are many Karen's or Boomers as my daughter calls them that need to I ran into one yesterday that decided to go after me because I was parked in a handicap spot. She informed me that I was illegally parked and only my disabled veteran husband was allowed to park in the handicap space. As she was yelling and spitting I showed her my VA card and she than proceeded to tell me that I was a VA bum and how I needed to get off my ass and get a real job. My point is that the Karen's are on both sides of political aisle(she had multiple Trump stickers) |

If we were dealing with Ebola or something of that nature, I would gratefully wear a mask, or do whatever it took to save my life and others. Covid is not Ebola, not even close...it has a extremely high rate of survival. There isn't enough deaths and hospitalizations to make news headlines anymore, so they focus on cases, on positive tests, of which many are incorrect. The media is stirring the pot....masks are a political tool, keeping people fearful for whatever nefarious reason. CDC contacted a friend here in SD, who tested positive, they are not sick, they were told, that in SD at least 80% of people who tested positive, experienced no sickness issues, the remaining 20% mostly experienced flu like symptoms, with a very small percentage of the 20% needing medical care. The mask nazi's are way out of hand....if you feel like you need to wear a mask to feel safe, wear it, but to those that get all officious about it, that is crossing the line of respect, and turns into bullying. So masks are not about being inconvenienced, but more so about freedom to choose. JMO. |

What about the seat belt nazis and the DUI nazis and smoking nazis? Heck let's just throw out all the public health and safety laws because they all infringe on someone's "freedom". Personal inconvenience should always trump someone's right to live. I am sure the loved ones of 200,000+ dead people don't think the virus is just a bad cold. |

HOWEVER, you are ignoring those who have "supposedly" recovered are now left with long term health problems ...... I am certain that the families of the 204K who have already succombed from this "mild" disease are happy that you think that it is not "all that" serious ..... https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/coronavirus-long-term-effects/art-20490351 |

We've actually had an influx of positive patients and many of our long term covid patients have died. We also got a patient from northern sd which I thought was weird. |

| I've been asked twice now to put on a mask while I was at a restaurant waiting for a table. 2 different places, same county. I oblige or I go wait outside .. no big deal. 2nd one I didnt have a mask anywhere near or on me, so I took my hoodie sleeve and covered my mouth and nose ... that was good enough apparently because they said thank you. Insanely ridiculous but whatever. I understand they are trying to stay open and keep their employees paid. But, in our county not a single person wears a mask in any restaurant and very few stores and no one says a thing about it. I dont do the news and numbers. Baseball tournament this weekend in 2 different counties... we all got the email saying masks were to be worn if social distancing wasn't an option... I think I saw maybe a handful of folks wearing masks the entire weekend. Bathrooms were disgusting as usual, hand washing signs posted everywhere and water fountains turned off... and of course, all the bathrooms were out of soap. I went to TSC today to get dog food and had to use the restroom. Guess what... soap dispensers empty and nothing to dry hands with nor any hand sanitizer... I told the cashier they were out of soap in the commode. I could see the concern written all over her face. Far as I am concerned they want to make us do our part in wearing these darn masks and comply to come into their store or event... they need to also do their part and keep bathrooms tidy and make sure there's soap to wash your hands in the bathroom... basic hygiene....

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | My take on all this,,,,,,,,, If anyplace you go into says to wear a mask then wear a mask, if a event as in sports are whatever says you need to wear a mask then wear a mask, if you dont want to wear a mask then stay the he** home, dont go some were so you can cause a scene because you dont feel like wearing a mask, dont embarrass your friends are children when you feel like causing a scene, do as asked or dont go!!!! Thats why I stay home I hate wearing a mask, but when I do go somewhere and says maskes are needed then I wear a mask. Easy Peasy |
