His 3rd treatment went very well today, he also got his first antibiotic via breathing treatment, it didn't bother him a bit. Only lasted about 10 minutes. He also has gained a little over 2lbs so that's good! He's been loving his mint n chip ice cream lol! Dr said let him eat as much as he wants. We are all headed to bed now, hopefully he will feel up to getting up at 5am to go get that buck in the morning! But I told him that we'd see how he feels. He's pretty determined to get out there though! Thanks for the prayers and thinking of us!

We did get up and go this morning! It was freezing but thankfully there was a heater on the stand. We saw a few, but no shooters unfortunately. He gets to go again next weekend. I think he enjoyed himself though and he did get a big kick out of riding to the deer stand in the Polaris, it was like mudding lol! We are covered in mud! He asked if he could keep the mud on his face today. It'll be a miracle if none of us get this crud that's going around out here, colt had a little bout but not like what everyone else has been getting around these parts. I wipe EVERYTHING down daily with clorox wipes and I've got the taste of lysol in my mouth! I'm trying my best to keep us well. There's a bad 24 hour stomach bug that just about everyone we know has gotten. And Jacobs father was so sick yesterday he couldn't come into the clinic while jake was getting his treatment. I'm hoping the antibiotics he received yesterday help ward off any potential illness that may make its way into my home.

Merry Christmas! Jacob is having a great Christmas! This is the first time he hasn't had any down time after treatment... just proves the fact to keep him going and looking forward to something is going to keep him healthy and fighting! He's running around like a crazy guy with his little brother outside playing with their new monster trucks in the big dirt pile by the barn lol! Love to see the smiles and hear the laughing.. such a blessing! I hope ya'll are having a wonderful Christmas with your families.

He's having a very emotional evening ... crying ... asking why.. I'm struggling to keep my game face on and be brave enough for both of us... he asked what would happen if he didn't beat this.. my heart breaks. I just tell him he's going to beat this and it'll be ok.. I'm at a loss for words. .. first time since he's been diagnosed I'm alone with him.. my husband is gone and my mother took my two other kids with her to go visit. My stepdaughter just got here, thank goodness but she's a bigger mess than I am.. we are both blubbering over him.
