He is starting his 4th round of chemo tomorrow. He is doing his treatments at MD Anderson in Houston.
His lymphoma is a result of Agent Orange from the Vietnam war.
Wanted to update. He has completed 7 rounds of Chemo and they sent him home briefly to let his platelets increase. He will be heading back to MD Anderson in the next week or two for his final round of Chemo. His Dr said he feels he is in remission now and this last round of chemo is added insurance. His Dr has an 83% success rate with treating lymphoma patients.
Keep the prayers coming.. God is great!!
Prayers that Chet remains in remission. |

update
His burns were not as bad as the Doctors initially expected. His face and hands are the worst. He will be released to stay with his mother in the city where he will be close to the hospital to have his bandages changed daily. He is very upbeat and positive considering the huge loss. There is going to be a large benefit for him at the end of the month. It is sure to bring in a lot of money as this is a man who has touched many people in his life. Thank you all so much

| Please keep my grandma in your prayers. Last Tuesday my aunt took her to the ER because she was dizzy and had zero energy (not like her AT ALL. This woman goes 90 - 0 all of the time) Anyway her blood pressure was 220+ on the top and her her blood sugar was in the 400s. The ER doctor sent her home because he didn't have any open beds. The next day she was admitted into the hospital after a trip to her doctor. Yesterday the neurologist came by to check on her as she was not getting any better (in fact only getting worse...slurred speech, dizzy, no energy) She ran some tests and said that it appeared that Grandma had suffered a stroke about a week ago. She also said that there is a 24 hour window and that if a stroke is diagnosed within that time frame the odds are very high that there will not be any permenant damage. We were told that had she been kept on that Tuesday and had meds administered that she would probally not be the way she is today. Please pray for her and also for my family as it is starting to tear into them all. Some are laid back and others high strung and out for blood instead of all joining forces to help Grandma recover faster. Sorry this is so long. Please pray for us. |

| They have moved my Grandma to a rehab facility. I just got off the phone with my Mom and she said Grandma was feeling about the same, but that when they took her down today for her therapy she got sick, they assume this is from jostling her around yesterday from the hospital and getting her set up at the rehab facility. I will update as I know more. Right now it looks like she will be there for at least 3 weeks. Thanks for all the prayers. |

Location: WI | I thought that this should be added to this posting also: To make a long story short One of our Very Special Younger Barrel Racers from MN is very sick in the hospital from an accidental mistake with Medications. There is all ready a posting on this site that tells the story about Dillon Brown so I will not go into detail, but Dillon and his Family need all the thoughts and Prayers from all of his fellow Barrel Racers. Please Keep Dillon and his Family in your prayers because he is a Very Special Kid with a Big Smile every time he makes a run and he really needs all the support that God and his fellow Barrel Community can give him! Thank you for taking the time to read this and keep him in your prayers. I saw that no one had posted the new message for Dillon's family and friends, so I hope I am not stepping on any toes by posting this:

“GETTING DILLON BACK IN THE SADDLE” is our goal! Dillon has a long road of rehab and therapy to get him strong enough to get back in the saddle. So many of you have called to ask what you can do to help Dillon. I know this will be hard to believe but Dillon does not have a saddle. His was destroyed by a horse last year and he has been borrowing saddles here and there. If you would like to help us raise money to get Dillon a saddle he would really appreciate it. Tabatha opened a checking account specific for this event. Checks need to be made out to TABATHA WEBSTER FOR BENEFIT OF DILLON BROWN and mailed to: 461 Maplewood CircleNew Prague, MN 56071. Tab is trying to get a saddle at cost. When Dillon comes home we will host a small event and present Dillon with the saddle and a card with the names of every one who is able to donate. Dimes or dollars any bit matters! If you have questions please don’t hesitate to call Tabatha-612-290-6089 or KIT-612-414-0540.
Once again Thank you for your kind support! | I think this is a Great Idea and a Wonderful Way to "Help the Cow Person's Way!" The group of people that Dillon is around and all our fellow Barrel Racers from all around know what it feels like to "Fall Off the Horse" and not quite know how to get back up and "Ride to the Timer!"
Dillon is really working hard to get better, but the trail ahead of him is going to be tough! I hope that all of us can continue to keep him and his family in our prayers and maybe help if you can to give Dillon a "Goal to shoot for when the times ahead of him are going to be tough!" For all the love he gives his fellow competitors, I hope we can just return the favor!
To Dillon and Family, Charlie, the Critters and my self want to continue to support you in any way we can and know that you are in our thoughts, on our minds, and especially in our prayers! Keep up the fight Dillon cause we are all right behind you. God Bless,

Location: ohio | Please keep my mother in-law and father in-law in your prayers. My father in-law just returned home from the hospital with reoccuring heart problems. My mother in-law was going through chemo (her 1st round) and got very sick and dehydrated. She has been in for a week now and is not getting better. On top of all this, my very good friend and hauling buddy just found out she has bone cancer. She sat out 2 seasons of hauling to fight and win her fight with breast cancer and was so excited to haul this year.
My prayers to all |

Location: IL | My mom is 64 yrs young and she is on a list for a lung transplant. She has a disease called pulmonary fibrosis. A lung transplant will allow her to live a good 15 yrs longer.
You know, unfortunately someone has to die in order for her to get this lung....so my prayer is that they know the Lord also. Mom is at the top 5 of the list right now so it could all happen pretty soon.
Then, my husband needs to be able to operate the ranch while I am gone and he works outside the home and he usually has to travel a few hours from home. All this will be trying on him while I am up in Mn helping my mom for a couple weeks. Things are tough right now and trying to figure it all out is a juggling act in some ways but they always seem to work. Prayers are needed.
Thanks,
Roxy

If you could keep Dad in your prayers, please. He goes in for surgery Tuesday morning. He has aneurysms on his kidneys. They are large enough now surgery has to be done. There are no guarantees that Dad will survive the surgery. If he does, the recovery and rehab are tough and long. We did Father's Day on Sunday, the 25th. We had tthe whole family together. It was reallly nice and I sure hope we get to do it again. |
