Anthony Lucia, trick roper/contract act in the PRCA. Was at Ft Worth this year.
Oh yeah this. I just assume people know this.
I'm rather shocked I'm an expert on the topic of Rodeo Girls. |

Well I am on the other side of the country. In non-rodeo land. We don't have anything PRCA/WPRA except a circuit finals I think?
So I have zero clue who anyone is in rodeo. Especially in Oregon. Lol. |

Watching the show I'd never guess that any of them could ride. Although I would still google them and could see what they had done.

Idk the other girls well enough to know. I know their horses are relatively new to them, so of course there's a learning curve. But Darcy is another story. I guess for not having done it long she's alright. But I think she cut a lot of corners. And she has no room to talk junk like she does, whether it's just for tv or not. Just my opinion.
I think it's hilarious to hear her talking smack threatening to kick those other girls hineys. |

| So if they refer to the two as "rookies", then what is Darcy classified as since she has less experience than they do and has she actually ever filled her permit?
From where I'm standing, the rookies have been around the rodeo world more than she has. So while they might be rookies (as in just filled their permits and are on their first year as a WPRA member), she is the bigger rookie if we look at experience running barrels. |

I don't know what Darcy is. But she makes me want to slap her silly lips into next week. I wouldn't last 2 minutes in her presence. |

Does she actually have the ability to have filled her permit?

Location: Oregon | I'm sure she has filled her permit. You don't even have to do that at a rodeo anymore. The first time I saw her was at the Vancouver rodeo and she showed up with her first barrel horse Tommy and won the rodeo. It's not a WPRA rodeo but it's a tough rodeo. Tommy was a really nice horse. |

| I was just curious because you can't tell anything from the short snipets they show of the runs.
Although if I was having to show up to the rodeo 4 days early and school on my horse... I'd be a little concerned, lol! |

I should have paid more attention, I didn't know I would need this info 9 years later. I have CRS syndrome anyway! LOL |

She's been running for THAT long?? I had no idea. She rides like she's scared or timid. |

Didn't she say somewhere she was the NPRA rookie of the year in 2004? So almost 10 years. Maybe her new horse is a little intimidating. I'd probably look scared on him too. Last run I made on my own horse scared me. LOL |
