My daughter told me about a post he made last week that made me want to vomit. I guess you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. |

| I could not hear very clear in the vidoe but in the event someone bid just trying to run him up and with no intention of buying him. There were consequences and laws that prevent that. I heard something about paying 20% of selling price and other fees. They did disclose that before the sale. |

But how do you prove that a REGISTERED BUYER is just running the bid? Especially since they had to prove funds. You never could. |

| I dont think I would be willing to spend $170+ just to be mean on the chance of having to buy the horse for full price or the fees involved. I think everyone there and with only 13 buyers had their price they would pay and the were serious. |

NO business minded individual would pay this much money for a GELDING that is currently injured, I WOULD HOPE! Even if he has a fantastic career ahead of him and wins the world 5 more times, he will NEVER win that money back. I believe fully in the sale, however I think the price was a serious case of GRANDSTANDING. I know what Stitch brought when he was sold as a sound horse with more world titles under his belt, it was no where near 850k!!! Don't you get it? Apparently all that is basically paid for him is 85k, some court costs and lawyers costs. And then I guess down the road there may be a separate judgement My issue with it is... what idiot would run him that far?? What would you do in the event that you were the one stuck with him at 849k with the prayer that Byron or whomever was bidding on their behalf hit him again? I would have let him go for that kind of money!! He is a GELDING!! That has ONE world title under his belt. There are people out there with lots of money. The contending bidder has bought high profile horses in the past. They probably knew that the Walkers were going to buy him back, why not make them pay? It isn't over by a long shot. Now they probably ought to be worried about the other suit.
Okay I'll bite, what other suit? |

This is old news.....I heard about that post and the fact the horse may be crippled a month ago....before The American. Yet he was still being hauled, illegally. |

| UPDATE/CORRECTION-bidding started at $20,000 and immediatly shot up to $75000. And then just blew up. Big increments hard and fast. |
