| Prayers for my brother "Tom" who had a brain aneurysm on saturday, had surgery sunday and will be recovering for the next couple of weeks in the hospital. The next few days are the most critical as he may have strokes from the bleeding of the aneurysm. Thank You. |

Location: Illinois | Ridafatappy - 2008-12-09 9:06 PM Just wanted to ask you all to include my grandaughter, Paige (9 yrs. old today) in your prayers. She has been having stomach pains off and on since early summer, after she eats. There have been diet changes and medications but no improvement. The pains have become more frequent. Paige is having an upper GI and ultrasound of her abdomen tomorrow morning.
UPDATE:
My daughter took Paige to an allergy doctor for tests (after repeated tests of other sorts than allergies from a pediatric gastroenterologist who insisted Paige wasn't allergic to anything). Turns out Paige has some extreme food allergies. The results from the allergy tests came in last week and after some major dietary changes, this was Paige's first full week of school this year! Stomach pain has almost totally subsided. Simply amazing! Paige is allergic to peanuts, beef, egg whites, oats, dairy products, chocolate/cocoa, tomatoes, and a bunch of other things. She can eat pork, fish and chicken, white potatoes, corn, and I don't remember the rest. |

Location: Lost in North Dakota....wishin on all the stars | Could I ask for prayers for my mom. I didn't post this before, she nearly died last wedsnday on an overdose of ativan. She had gone through a 3 month supply in a week, had a major anxiety attack and slipped into a small coma, they brought her back and she went into detox.. She still has not dealt with the grief of loosing my brother in 98, and it wasn't but 8 months before that she lost her husband to a complication to his diabetes... that caused him to pass out while driving, he drove off the side of a cliff and she was the first on the scene to the wreck without knowing it was Wayne... I am sure you don't want the details..lol.
Anyway, she has been detoxing since Thursday and sounds alot better then she has in awhile. If you could spare a few prayers for her recovery and sobriety I would appreciate it. |

Location: I call the back seat on the short bus!! | Requesting prayers for my BIL. He is an officer of the Wichita Police Dept. and has been placed in charge of the security for Dr. Tiller's funeral tomorrow (abortion doctor who was shot in church).
What a sick dread I have over this for him. It could be a real mess tomorrow. Please lift him up in prayers for a safe day for all involved. Thank you! |

Location: SE Missouri | I'm a new director for our nbha district and I could use some extra prayers for this season, as we have already had some pretty big bumps in the road with our members. It just seems like we are having a tough time as a group as far as getting along and keeping things in perspective.
So, I know things could be so much worse and I think of so many people on our prayer list that are facing much worse adversity. But if you can remember our group, I would really appreciate it :) |
