she said they were claiming to be a true representation of barrel racing.... I don't think anyone watching Rodeo Girls will think the show is real... unless maybe they have trouble distinguishing reality from poorly acted fantasy

Yeah I have no worries whatsoever that anyone is going to think I put on my glitzy clothes, load my 200K horse into my big fancy rig and take 2 days to get to Red Bluff where I sit around and drink and fight with my girlfriends. |

Location: In the real world | Well, I was totally prepared to hate the show. But I actually like it. And, maybe we would see more barrel racing, rodeo, western lifestyle shows if we supported them instead of picking them apart. This is show is no different than all of the housewives shows. They are set up, scripted and promote drama where there normally wouldn't be any. People tune in and love the housewives because they are ridiculous and catty. I would rather watch a ridiculous "housewives" show with horses than one without horses.

Location: Texas | I'm way late to this party and have only wasted one hour of my life on this drivel of a show. But to the poster who asked about the Heritage Brand logo, I know these girls solicited sponsors. I live in Stephenville and my husband knows most of the people in the show. The dirt I could tell....
Anyhow, I can't remember which one, but one of the girls came into the trailer dealership he works at several times trying to get them to sponsor a trailer (i.e. give her one). Hubby is in charge of that stuff and said he didn't want to touch this show with a 10 foot pole. As he put it, most of the people who will get sucked into the show and believe that is what rodeoing is like will not be buying a trailer. He didn't want their dealership and trailer manufacturer associated with the train wreck A&E would fabricate.
It makes more sense to me why Heritage Brand would be willing to sponsor one of them. I'm sure a lot of people watching the show may have horses. It's a lot different to shell out money for a tack set than a LQ trailer. |

Location: Centerville, TN | I'm late also with this train wreck.... I've went to the A&E web site to catch up....... I'm very good friends with the family that Dasher came from. Don't like the way Miss Money Bags rides, what am I saying, she can't ride... I ask the family to go get him back, he is too good of a horse to be in this crazy mess. What I don't understand also, is the big up roar over the Phil Robertson interview but A&E will turn their heads to these women actions..... Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do. |

Location: Wisconsin | Oh Me Me Me!! Im gonna watch Snooki & Jaywow first, then Beverly Hills housewives...and if I have any IQ points left, then its onto Rodeo Girls!! Yes I watched last week, because I wanted to see if they stay at any of the Bed and Breakfasts that I do!! Yes Nothing says Rodeo better, than staying at a good Bed & Breakfast! |

| I with you Lynette! We need to haul together! Bed & Breakfast rodeo... Hey, maybe Darcey need a couple of hauling buddies!! i will admit that my 19 year old son, who is TOTALLY bored w/barrel racing IS watching every episode of "Rodeo Girls", even though I had to force him to watch the first one. Yep, they have a formula that works. What is it they call it, "T & A" ?? Tattos & Attitude, yeah, right!

| I quit TV a long time ago. My girls asked if they could watch it. They are 7 and 9. I watched most of an episode an A and E's website to preview it. I didn't think it was appropriate for them, but I see no harm in it for anybody that wants to watch. The people on it are obviously acting, but to me it is an accurate representation of "some" people .---------Jealously, arrogance, and pride are all prominant in any activity you get involved with. |

All the ones i have encountered, I have formed long time friends with. I know its all a farce, I didnt get too offended by Jersey Shore, even tho im italian..however i have a few friends asked me if i had time to ride with all my tanning and partying im suppose to do. |

Who are you talking to? Is this a conversation with yourself that we're supposed to understand? |

Location: Big Blue Skies | I have to say I watch it too. I wish they would show more horses and racing. I think anyone older than 10 years old can tell that this is a scripted show. Not as bad as I thought it would be and at least it draws some attention to the rodeo world. |
