Oh I have been! I had to take my hubby to the dr yesterday, he wore a mask, I did too! I wear one each time I have to go into our room, then right to the hand sanitizer and sink to wash up. Can't take any chances on jacob or myself getting sick. I haven't slept in my bed in 5 days ... been on the couch ever since he starred complaining of not feeling good! I'm going to be brutally honest, I can't wait till that man feels better and goes back to work! Lol! My goodness, we all know the joke about how men act when they are ill... haha! Between him and Jacob needing something every 10 minutes I barely have time to use the restroom! I think I was able to ride once last week, maybe.. can't remember, but I know I did. I got out to the barn right after I dropped my other kids off at school, thankfully jacob and my husband were still sound asleep... I turned up my radio really loud in the barn and I just took my sweet time cleaning stalls and filling hay nets... and then I get the text from the house lol! My hubby is hungry ... wahhhhhhhh! Phew.. it was the best 17 1/2 minutes I've had this week to myself lol!!

Here they are... my loves!
My hubby, my youngest son, Colt, and my Jacob! He did amazing out there today!

Some of my crew will probably be wanting to touch base with Jacob about guiding a hunt for them next year!!! Very handsome men and very nice deer---way to go Jacob

One of my closest friend's husband was sick a couple days ago---he felt so bad she said that he couldn't even get off the couch to get his phone charger (Lord help me please, the human race would come to an end if men had to give birth). Bless his little heart. Meredith IS NOT patient with sick men, so he found a way believe it or not to get that charger himself!! I truly hope your husband is better and back to work soon--and doesn't need a bendy straw anymore.

Oh now that is funny!!! Yep, he is finally feeling better, he felt good enough to get out of bed and come watch me clean out the chicken coop yesterday afternoon lol! He's been without a fever now for 48 I believe so we should be in the clear. He's really wanting to go to Jacobs last chemo.

Ohhh guiding a hunt!!! He'd love that! I told my husband we are going to need a bigger house because he's going to want to hunt now every chance he gets lol!

I'll tell ya, Jacob is a heck of a shot... Billy said when they gutted that buck, he took the heart out and the bullet was in it. He said he put down the perfect shot at 175 yds. Even the taxidermist was impressed. Our local taxidermist has also donated the mount to us, so generous and awesome for Jacob. He said he put Jakes buck to the front of the list to be finished. Can't wait to get that one home!

Jacobs last treatment went awesome. His blood counts are completely back to normal, they were way down last week but we are sitting pretty now. Upon examining him, his dr said he had to press very very hard to "feel" the mass. It use to be very easy for him to feel in his abdomen. So ..... great news the chemo is working! The tumor has shrunk significantly! Thank you Jesus!!!

We have been at the hospital all day.. the CT scan is done, we are waiting to meet with our dr now. However we did get to speak with the surgeon earlier and she said she was waiting for a little more information but from what she saw from the scan it "appeared" the lungs were clear! The tumor had shrunk more than half size so all very uplifting and POSITIVE news so far! Surgery will most likely be next Friday to remove the tumor and unfortunately he loses his right kidney but that's ok. Just waiting to get confirmation from our dr after they've had more time to review the scan and discuss.
