Location: Cap'n Jezebel EarBeard ;- ) | If you could please add Al Hutchinson to your prayers, I know his family would be so grateful. He is retiring starting Oct. 1, so he still had one day left to work, but suffered a stroke Tuesday afternoon and is in the ICU with no visitation.
eta - Sadly, Al has passed earlier this evening. He will be missed by many.

If you all could remember me in your prayers I would appreciate it. I have Shingles on my ear and cheek. The whole left side of my head is killing me. We are trying to keep it out of my eye because apparently it could cause me to go blind. I had heard Shingles were very painful but I had no idea.

I'm just having some hard times and if someone could just keep me in their prayers i would apreciate it alot. I'm just struggling with somethings right now and am very confused about what God's plan is for me.

Location: Texas | Please add my cousin Chad Fergeson, he will be 21 in December... About a month ago he was shot in the head. Basically the bullit bounced around inside his head. The doctors thought he was going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life and gave the option to pull the plug. Now Chad is moving his arm, legs and head. He communicates by blinking. If you tell a joke, he laughs. He knows what is going on. He can't talk yet and the rehab place that said they were going to make him their poster child and pay for all of his rehab now thinks that he is unable to be rehabilitated-sp. Chad's mom fought to keep him out of a nursing home and she was able to take him home last week. The 2 men that shot him were bragging at a party about Chad being dead. They have still not been put in jail.
Please pray for a full recovery for Chad, pray for his family to make it through this mentally, physically, and finacially. Please pray that justice is brought to whoever did this to him.

Location: Cecil, Pa | Please pray for my father Tom he has been sick lately in and out of the hospital and they just keep saying nothing is wrong or just brushing it off and sending him home only to return to the er frequently. Pray for god to heal him from the inside out and work a miracle. My dad is 68 but I have a little brother 14 that needs his dad for a long time to come. I pray that he will live a long healthy life. Please pray for healing :) |

Location: NC | I came on here to ask that my husband and his fellow Marines make it home from Iraq safely on Tuesday, they have been gone all year... but after reading some of these replies,
I feel so selfish....
Ive thought it has been so hard this year being alone with 2 kids all year, and everything in the world breaking and going wrong, health issues from cervical cancel cells, herniated disk, spondylosys, degenerative disk disease, root canals, to animals dying... you name it...
But...after reading.. I realize more than ever, how blessed I am.. I have a wonderful husband, (whom Im very proud of) and who has a job in this horrible economy...2 healthy kids, great horses/dogs who love us in return and so much more.. it really could have been a MUCH worse year for us ..
as I see it has been for others. This board is great, and I will keep each and every one of you, and those mentioned in my thoughts and prayers tonight.

Please don't ever feel selfish for asking for prayers for ANYTHING. Prayers are free and take nothing from anyone else. And those defending our country and freedom should always be in our prayers.

Please also add Michael M. to the prayer list. He is a young bullrider from Pella, Iowa who was in a bad car accident last Tuesday evening. He is in the hospital and from what I understand went through an operation to remove part of his skull and brain. His parents are with him in the hospital and I can't imagine going through this especially this time of year.

| My horse could certainly use some prayers right now. Due to kinda a freak accident my horse ended up with tetanus. He was diagnosed 3 days ago at the first sign of it. He is still hangin in there under close watch at the vet. If you could keep him in your prayers that would be awesome. |

Location: Possum Kingdom SC | Add Chad Morgan. He was thrown from his horse 2 weeks ago and broke his wrist the 3 places and had to have recon. surgery last week to repair his wrist. 10 screws and metal plate. He has a family and is needing prayers so he can return to work..
