Cancer has been beat sooo many times and sometimes completely unexpectedly and unexplainable except as a miracle. This is what I hope and pray for you, Laramie and the other people I've read about on this board.... :-( :-)

pkardos - 2014-02-28 11:14 AM Good luck to you. I just started chemo/radiation therapy yesterday for rectal cancer. And let me tell you, not being able to ride is a real downer. Watching everyone else and having to stand by is disheartening. But I go out to the barn and brush and talk to all of my pones and I just had a new little filly the other day, so I'm lavishing attention on her. Fear is a realistic emotion, but you can do anything and you will come through on the other side. Maybe not unscathed, but wiser and stronger for the experience. Good vibes headed your way!
I'll be thinking of you also, plase keep us informed of your progress.  This board was a world of support to me as I went through my treatments for Breast Cancer over the last 3 years.  Let us lift you up when you're down or just be the shoulder you need to cry on when you don't want anybody else to see.

Thanks SG   Long day, but a good day.  Have a plan of action now and new pain meds.  They also found 2 blood clots in my legs that they thing were contributing to the pain in that leg.  PET scan Monday at 10 and then back to the Cancer center and they will tat me.  Radiation every day for 3 weeks and then Chemo will start next Friday.  I really like the Dr. and his staff.  I guess Cigna is going through some computer upgrades and that is the reason for some of the delay in the approvals.  They couldn't get Ins to approve the Percocet which neither the pharmacist or the Dr. could understand and I'll be dog gone if the Dr. gave me 40 dollars cash to cover the cost.

Keep the prayers comming, but I feel very good about the day and it is wonderful not to hurt this evening :)

God is good!!

If you need any help at all in dealing with any type insurance issues, please feel free to PM me. I appeal claims full time for a living for a good sized medical group and have done it for quite a few years at a corporate level, not just a billing level. I'll be glad to help ---- BTW ---- that  goes for everyone on here.
