I was watching the rerun of the show because I wanted to see what was on Barb's truck that others were talking about on here, but I guess I came in to late to see her truck so never saw it I think. So what is on her truck? Is this a trophy truck? |

BUT, i will say that i was quite disappointed last night, when I thought they were going to the Cody Nite Rodeo...and it was a backyard jackpot in Cody. Probably a jackpot just for the show--JMO! |

I rodeo so yes I would be considered a "rodeo girl" and I have gone to a couple clinics and interned for a top trainer. I love to camp and take vacations and travel when we can afford it. I would love to go to a ranch like that and wrangle wild horses. They still have lives outside of just hauling form one rodeo to another. They are not trying to be portrayed as the top 5 in WPRA. They are simply woman who enjoy to rodeo and also enjoy having a life outside of rodeo. The editing on the barrel racing was especially bad this time! I HATED it!!! Why can't they just show their actual runs and quit trying to do all this "cool" special editing crap that is horribly done. Barb is a DNCFR champion. So her truck is an award truck from that.

hehehe....When Sadie made the comment that she'd never live that "ride" down, my husband responded, "Not if she reads BHW." hahaha!
I need to watch the episode again. I'm not exactly sure how or why she came off. That portion should be in slow mode.
Seriously though I nearly fell off my horse the same way a couple months ago. I lost my outside stirrup coming around first and we were in a tight indoor and my mare is really really turny so all I was thinking about in my head was ride ride ride all the way to the wall and once she got to her spot she dropped in to turn and she has a move boy that always makes people comment on her 2nd barrel and how quick she is...well without that inside stirrup and my focus on being to get her by the barrel I ended up on her side and had to really really pull to get myself back in the saddle. I pulled her up so I could get back up and then figuring I completely blew it because I felt like I was hanging off her side like a monkey for an eternity we coasted home and we still clocked 3D...lol. I felt horrible for my horse. She gave me the dirtiest look and I knew just what she was thinking "I was going in there to win this darn thing and you ride me like a pile of crap!" lol |

I'm sure they just put the lettering on the truck for the show, I don't know anyone that keeps putting their championships on every new truck they buy.
She is the 2009 DNCFR champ and yes that is a '09 model Dodge truck. |
