Cheesecake Factory in The Forum Shops at Caesars is my absolute favorite. I like Coronado Cafe at  South Point. There's a good place called Prime something there too. Bellagio buffet is good. Sidewalk Cafe at Ballys was good the last time I ate there.  Tejas de Brazil is good but expensive.Â
Anyone have any good suggestions on sushi or hibachi?Â
The Coronado was one of my favs! |

Cheesecake Factory at the Forum Shops is an annual tradition for me. |

Location: Illinois | If you like italian Battista's Hole in the Wall is very good. Its tucked back behind the Flamingo. Ellis Island has good food and is very inexpensive. I prefer their breakfast myself. If you are going to be there awhile I would suggest purchasing the American Casino Guide. There's a TON of coupons for good restaurants and attractions. Sometimes you have to join players clubs, but I created a yahoo email account to use just for that and you never have to deal with it after you leave Vegas. You can often get free credits for slots, a lot of buy one get one offers, discounts on buffets, and other restaurant coupons. The book is around $15 and you'll save so much more with than that even if you only use a couple of the coupons. |

| HARRAH'S AND MANDALAY BUFFET'S ARE MY FAVORITE'S ... FRESH SEAFOOD!!!
Tuff to beat a good well supplied buffet at different hotels ... you get to see the hotel and enjoy good food at the same time ...
Make you some notes on these different buffets ... because once in Vegas you won't be able to remember which you liked and which you didn't ... lol

You are just too classy for the rest of us.
That hurt my feelings
I'm going, and I'll take any of your suggestions. I like Italian, Mexican, steak, sushi, seafood, ... I love a restaurant with a good wine selection. Â
Aight
Italian, see my previous post on the subject
Mexican, Diego's is good, i'm not a huge fan of mexican but it's good.
Steak, couple of really solid choices, Nine is good, Delmonico's and Del Frisco always solid choices and pretty steady, standard quality. If I'm feeling old school it's The Palms,
Eclectic, The Restruant Guy Savoy or Joel Robuchon are pretty hard to beat.
Fine dining Michaels(pretty much black tie but worth it)
Japanese, Roku is pretty stellar but don't go expecting typical sushi style joint. For str8 up sushi I would say Sen of Japan, also Kumi and Yellowtail are solid choices but not my favs. Kumi is in the Mandalay and Yellowtail I think is in the Bellagio
Lastly if you like/appreciate art Picasso's is a must. Good food and excellent collection

Well I just made reservations at NOVE, so we'll see how it is. I've eaten Italian from NYC to LA and in between, my favorite food by far. |

Location: Midwest | Just my opinion.... but when I go somewhere new, I love to eat at places that are not a chain. It makes for a better dining experience. If you do the chain thing....at least eat at the original, where (hopefully) not everything you eat is frozen like an Applebee's LOL again JMO
ETA: Ex. Chicago is home to the Original Cheesecake Factory, Uno's Pizzeria, etc
I have eaten at those resturaunts before they became a chain, as well as the subsequent chain locations. To this day, the original locations serve MUCH better food, while the chains are just meh

Location: Central Montana | Ellis Island, the casino/cafe attached to the Super 8 off of Flamingo (about 2 blocks behind Ballys.) You can pull up their menus online. The food is excellent and REASONBLY priced, which is hard to find in Vegas. |

Location: OK | I would also check out restaurant.com, the last time we went, we found some certificates for some really nice places. Example: $10 for a $25 certificate. We used one at the Mandalay Bay Japanese place--saving a little money never hurts!
Also, just for grins, you could check out the FoodTV travel shows like the Diners Drive Ins and Dives and see if there are out of the way, local places-undiscovered treasures if you want to be adventurous.
I agree 100% with signing up for the player's clubs--you can get some decent deals on their buffets etc. Plus, most will give you a credit to start off with.
Most of all, don't get caught up in having reservations every single night-there's a lot to be said for "playing it by ear" the hotel concierge will usually be able to help with recommendations and subsequent reservations. |

I unfortunately have spent more than my fair share of time in vegas and have eaten at just about every spot there. I'm just looking for some new ideas - I love Italien.... Probably not Mexican as we eat that at least three times per week... Nove or Mulino
Yes.... I can see me eating the entire menu at both places.... not sure if they would let me wash dishes to pay for it though? Or, may be I will find me a sugar daddy... That would work too... |

Location: Red Raiderland | As far as buffets go I would say Rio and Bellagio but since we always have some time to kill we have been all over Vegas and Henderson and we found Red Rock Casino. It's WAY off the beaten path(way west of town) but that buffet is one of my favorites. The casino is also very new and pretty. Definitely worth the drive out there plus you can go out to Red Rock Canyon and hike off all that dang food! |

Location: Where it is too cold, SD | I was just in Vegas two weeks ago - at the South Pointe ALL week - the mexican place upstairs is pretty decent.
We found a quiet little burger joint our last night there in New York New York - way in the back where all the restaurants are. They make their own patties - and the burgers were huge! And very good beef - homemade fries! We didn't have room for dessert and was bummed because it looked delicious! We had planned to try out The Buffet at the Belegio but the line was way tooooo long and I was wanting a place to sit after all that walking. |

Fifteen years ago, I would never go there in less than black tie but since it's moved, if you're even wearing a tie, you'll be out numbered by more casual guests. It's not quite the same since the move. |
