Personally I think if they did a real show on the PRCA/WPRA rodeo trail it would be a very interesting program.
We can only hope this gets horrid reviews and no one tunes in.
Unfortunately, I think it would only be interesting to us. Probably why they haven't made one, too small of a viewership market. The reason this show is getting attention is because of how the people in it behave. "Reality TV" is not reality. Publicity is pulicity, good or bad. I think most people would be intelligent enough to realize this show is not actually "real", especially if they are a regular viewer of other reality shows. But it puts barrel racing on the radar so to speak, so that's a step. I know it's not the one most people would like to see who are actually in the sport, but without it, people wouldn't even be talking about barrel racing outside of the "barrel racing world". |

Haha Im assuming you are talking about Darcy... Ive done quite a bit of researching her after watching this. She is the one that got all of this started. Was married to the Hawiian Tropic owner, then Jean Claude Vandamme, and then the guy that started Herbalife.
With all those millions Im sure she can afford to do whatever she wants no matter how trashy it makes the sport look.
Yeah and it looks like she got a new body part from each of her ex husbands. |

I hope who ever said that these women were nice and hard working sees this, its trash trash and trasher. A true barrel racer is not like these slu*'s. The ones that I know that are pros are Ladys. |

Barb is legit - her name is all over in the NW. And Marvel is a hand! The rest of them...well, they speak for themselves, and I would have to agree, they are buckle bunnies! Anyone who says rodeo is all about "mattress hopping" is not a real competitor. I sure as heck don't pay my fees to go mattress hop, I want to win $$, and I'm sure many would agree! Sure it's a good time, I've been there (not the mattress hopping)...but I never pretended to be someone that I'm not. |
