Location: Riding Crackhead. | Just Bring It - 2013-12-09 3:07 PM I love watching Sherry and Stingray in her turns! If you watch her hands she is constantly asking for little moves and Stingray is always right on! It is like Sherry knows exactly where and when to ask for just maybe one more move, little push, step, etc. and Stingray is right on cue and doesn't argue. It is amazing how fast she can think and react to every little step Stingray takes and how sensitive Stingray is to those little cues. You can really tell she is working hard to keep all 3 up this year!
That's where I have problems. It sounds to me like I'm supposed to think, react, use those floppy things in my hands to guide my horse???, stay on Crackhead, and look good all at the same time? Are you kidding me? |

Anybody know what kind of headgear Shada was using in Round 1? Trying to find a good photo to get a good look.

Your horses name is Crackhead??? Getting on him must be a rodeo all by itself!! |

| I will have to give these ladies a round of applause. Not only because they've made the NFR, but for coping with the NFR enviroment. The T&M seems like it is so tough to run in (just look at the alleyway system!) and the ground can be tough as well. Good thread, I think we can learn lots from watching them run :) |

I can't imagine the noise on top of the nasty set up. It has to be intense! |

Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked | They are all doing a great job with what they have to work with and around. I would love to see Sidney get back on Twisted Sister at least one or two round agains. That horse is awesome- just a tiny bit crazy I think- I corrected my mistake... got Taylor and Sidney horses mixed up

| I've seen some "mistakes" if you wanna call them that throughout watching but I dont think I've seen them not come back the next round and correct them or attempt to. I think Babyflo's first tip was rider error but now its Babyflo but Fallon is making some adjustments to try and fix. Or Sherry riding 2 handed longer into her barrels that she did night one. Or the extra squeeze I can see Mary giving latte on the back side of second. I think its Ketcham who changed her approach to her first from night one to the following and has caught it much better.
I think these girls are fabulous and really know their stuff. I like that you can see those adjustments they make. Some very minor, some tack changes, some riding, some are a combination.
Keep it up ladies!! |

I heard they were going to load her up in the chutes and let Cody Wright have a wack at her. I bet she'd be better than the horses he has drawn in the first 4 rounds! |

Location: NC | Michele McCleod rode her tail off last night. She held Slick off that third barrel and drove him right up in that pocket. I kept going back & watching her run over & over. They are just a GOOD team.
Cowboy has a pretty pretty pattern on him. And Louie is just nice to watch. Those two are a great team.
And watching BO WALK up the alley, waiting on Taylor to tell him to go, just makes me smile. What a GOOD GOOD laid back horse he is. A
And Stingray is laid back too, until it's time to lay it down. |

| Never seen any of these horses run in real life...
And have never been around any of these horses, just have watched from poor quality youtube videos...
So I can't say much about the horses as far as what they are like, because I have no clue! I just know I really enjoy watching them all run, along with each of the ladies who have worked hard to get there. |

| This thread is great! I went back and watched the runs with everyone's comments in mind and was able to see so much more. It is amazing the finesse these ladies have around those barrels, as someone stated earlier, the quiet little moves that equate to a great run. |

Location: North of the 49th Parallel | I want Louie. I had a gelding named Louie so I was a little partial to him when I saw Lisa ride him the first time and since then he's been my favorite because he runs the exact same pattern every time. He is the horse I want my mare to turn out like. Calm, listens to Lisa, and consistency.
I'm also a huge Christy fan and RUN MOVIN RUN! |

If you have fb, all her designers are listed daily. I believe she also posts them on her website.

Location: somewhere between here and the next barrel race | Wow, they're all GREAT riders, and ... with that being said, I'm hopin they don't switch horses tonight, especially the first 5 riders. First up tonight: Brittany. Then Sabrina, then Fallon, Christy, and Michele! --- They all will have the best ground TONIGHT!... I can hardly wait.. Only 4 more hours of waiting (I listen "live" via www.prorodeolive.com ) ! -- Then, tomorrow I get to watch them ride, on YouTube.
