Expert Posts: 4766 Location: Bandera, TX	I was giving 6ml per injection. I've stopped however doing a little test to see if this may have caused my horse to bleed. Two of my vets backed me on hypothesis and want me to take it to a University setting if it has some credence.

I was in my last year of my Animal Science Undegrad when a few vets were discussing this. I then went on to intern with an Equone Vet who would tell clients not to dose with in one week of a run that she felt it induced bleeding (in horses that already had EIPH) . I have a bleeder and I really think it's true. I do not give him any gluc/adequan within a week of a race.
