Location: stray dump capital of the world | WoW!!! What an amazing accomplishment. For those of us who will never be a rookie, please brag away. Some of us love hearing of the accomplishments of others. I will certainly follow the kiddo on FB. Congratulations!!!
Edited to add that I just took a look and liked her on FB. I have a daughter of Takin on the Cash that looks a lot like Vegas. The husband told me to get my a$$ out there and 'rookie up.' lol.

Location: Red Raiderland | How very cool!!! I have wondered why I haven't seen much posted about the Kiddo. I know you posted a picture of 'Vegas" a couple of years ago and I couldn't believe how identical one of our broodmares looked to her...come to find out they are both Takin On The Cash mares! I thought y'all snuck into our pasture in the middle of the night and took Missy back to Colorado! That's "Missy" in front.

I haven't posted much about my daughter in quite some time as I had some rather nasty comments about bragging. So I took the hint and stopped posting much at all actually.
But many of you have watched The Kiddo grow up through BHW over the last 10 years. So those of you that are interested, I hope you will join us on the latest chapter of her rodeo experience. Those of you that aren't, I respect that and only ask that you send no ill wishes our way.
The Kiddo filled her permit last summer and stopped rodeo'ing because we wanted to start a new year as her being a rookie. So far, she has entered 3 rodeo's and drawn checks in both Topeka and Lincoln so she's 2 for 3 so far. She is sitting about 11th right now in the rookie standing but the other girls have between 12-13 rodeo's to her 3. She is up Saturday in the perf at Rapid City so please wish her luck. She is gaining confindence in her horseΒ and her horse just keeps getting better and better. She's been drawing checks in really tough competition and she's still making some mistakes.
For those of you wishing to follow her journey and honestly want to see her do good, please find her on Facebook. Take The Cash Quick. We both believe she has an honest shot at winning Rookie Of The Year and she is focused on that goal. Please wish her luck in this exciting year.
Thanks!
That's awesome for your daughter! If anyone is giving you a hard time about bragging, it's only because they're jealous! Who better to share your accomplishments with than fellow horse people??
I think it's great when people come here to share stuff like that! |

Also, Lincoln looks like what our little racetrack pens are around here, if she can run okay in those she could clean up the IPRA. |

Location: Texas | I liked her on FB. As her momma, I think you should brag away! I look forward to hearing how she does. If she ever needs to turn a horse out or plug in overnight or so around Stephenville, let me know. We have the room....although no promises that I won't try and swap out my sorrel horse for hers...
Tell her to keep it up and just ignore the haters. |

It's very exciting to see the kids on here that have grown and made wonderful lives, with and without horses. I know how you feel about your kiddo. My daughter is not much for barrel racing but let me tell you, she has goals of out roping Trevor Brazile lol. Praying you daughter blows their socks off! |
