D&D has been great so far but whats up with the announcer....his mike is way high...and during the slot race he'd start yelling, whistling, saying whoa etc.. when people are trying to run their colts....its hard enough with all the distractions for a colt to focus and run in a race like that but the announcer was a little much... I mean I get trying to get the audience hyped up but thats for before a run and when they are running home...making that much noise and those kind of noises like whistling or yellin whoa during a run over a loud speaker is not really fair...it wasn't all the time but it was a lot...

They unsaddled him and he did walk out of the arena. Not sure beyond that.

Does anyone know if they have the results of yesterday 5D posted anywhere? I got to watch the first 250 runs. Was just wondering how everyone was still sitting.

Do we know if they are okay with putting panels up on your trailer? I'm only there for a day but I just want my 2 to be happy and not have to stand tied while I'm out shopping

TRMomma - 2014-03-12 5:38 PM its free toe everyone - just another perk of a schiller ranch production as for the hater --- God Bless them. They obviously have NO IDEA what it takes to put on a production of this size and magnitude. Leave it to a narrow minded person to pick it apart. The BFA was an hour and a half getting started one day this past year. Things happen. this barrel race is off the charts by far the best production out there
You all are funny, you ask for opinions - the original poster did if you notice - and then bomb away when ONE person had a bad experience and had the NERVE to have an opinion. Good Lord, she has just as much right to have had a bad experience as the rest of you and your good experiences.

It's on my bucket list!!!!
Mine too....a mare I started and sold last fall, did well in the futurity yesterday! So at least I've got one with my brand on it there, even if I can't be there! That will have to be close enough for this year. I've got 2 nice babies I am prepping for next year.
