There are some really nice stallions on that benefit auction inculding A Dash Of Color. I have two full siblings by him and both are very pretty and look like barrel horses should. The mare they are out of is very short and as a yearlings they both are/were taller than her. If I wasn't a horse hoarder I would bid on him myself but my husband thinks four horses 6 yrs and under is plenty for just me

There are some nice studs listed on here.

I booked my LHDI mare is to Howelling Corona for a 2015 baby. $500 stud fee. I like the way he is bred and the way he looks.

Mine, Superflyforawhiteguy, own son of Dash For Perks. One of the few stallions who actually competes and wins! He won the 1D in barrels AND poles for NBHA TX 19 last year :-) lots of pictures of him and his offspring on my FB.

Frenchmans Boogies fee in 2013 was $1,000, unfortunately out of my price range. http://www.barbranches.com

There is a Frenchman's Boogie and a Frenchman's Bogie. Two different horses.

If I were going for a lower stallion price and had a nice mare to gamble with, I'd give Roll N Thunder a shot. He is at Hebert Quarter Horses. While he didn't perform as expected, he is gorgeous with a great pedigree. He's been in the back of my head for a while. You can get him for a lot cheaper than he is advertised if you have a good mare and call for considerations and he is on some stallion auctions.

I'd link him for you, but I can't link from my computer any more.....not sure why.....baffling.

Look at Frenchmans Bully (vgbra.org./stallions). He is a cremello that will throw palomino or buckskin, is a 1D/2D barrel horse with a super disposition. Great bone and throws size. Fee is $650 with multple mare discounts.

Frenchmans Roan Jet.  He is a beautiful red roan stud with an outstanding disposition.  His colts are just now being hauled.  Melissa is wonderful to work with.

Auctions are pretty much over, but if you call they will usually let you have the breeding that are left for minimun bid. I am almost sure that Roll N Thunder, for instance, didn't sell for the LQHBA auction. For him, I'd call FQHRA, TQHA, LQHBA.....there's a few other's I'd call for him. Hebert, generally, gives breedings to most of there studs to a number of auctions.

CYA Ranch - 2014-03-26 6:54 AM I don't know what his price is but Mighty Mind Bender is my vote.  I have a nice 2 yr old filly sired by him and KMC is awesome to work with.  You could PM her for info.  He's being kept in Granbury, TX by another BB saaranch
Mighty Mind Bender is what I was going to suggest to. Send me a pm if you need her phone number.

Triple ditto!!!  I have a 4 year old out of Bender and I cannot say enough good things about her.  She's a riot to ride, has a super mind, tons of athletic ability and just enough grit thrown in the mix.  I'd take a barn full if I could find them.

We have 2 young, reasonably priced stallions, both of which are listed here on BHW.  We also only require the $200 down payment to ship semen or breed your mare.  The remaining stud fee is due when & only when we have a confirmed pregnancy.  We've been on the breeding end of high dollar stud fees and lost them so are trying to take some of the "gamble" out of the breeding process.

Fancie_That_Chrome_ - 2014-03-26 4:50 PM Firewater Fooler Own son of FIrewater Flit out of a Multiple 1D producing mare who is a grand get to Jet smooth. and if you compare this studs pedigree to firewater Fiestas its very similar! Has over $60,000 in barrel earnings from 1D jackpots and pro rodeos. and in 2014 I believe he has earned over $5,000 in 2014 alone so far. Here is his Face book page: https://www.facebook.com/FirewaterFooler Pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/firewater+fooler One of his ads: http://www.stallionsnow.com/stallion-ad-805064 NOTE*** He is grey but carries the palomino or "dilute gene" He has produced several palominos from sorrel mares, and this year he produced his very FIRST Buckskin filly from a Bay mare! He is a high percentage producer for color! and his foals are built and smart smart! a video of him running this past weekend: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=633083586761623&set=vb.1000...
is he yours?

quikchik - 2014-03-26 7:00 AM I liked this one, but it seems he has gone up a little since I looked, so he is $750: http://barrelhorseworld.com/horsedetail.asp?ID=209081 I also like Tailgunner Tom, but I like most Corona Cartel sons. He was pretty inexpensive.

I know this horse and his owner. He is absolutely stunning in person. Beautiful mover and has seemed to take to the barrels easily. She also has a grandson of DTF out of Kelly Yates great mare, Firewater Fiesta. His name is Roosters Fiesta. He's a nice looking horse too, a little more compact and stout compared to Six Honors racy build. Both are very nice bloodlines for the price though.

Ace has been one of the EASIEST, most laid back youngster I have ever owned or worked with. He's extremely athletic and quick, these days he'd rather nap. lol. When he does play and hit the higher gears its amazing how effotless he makes passing everybody look!
