Ashton94 - 2014-03-30 5:08 PM This is my looong 2yo
(born Apr 2011
) filly. She stands 15.1h. I feed mine Purina® Strategy® twice a day & good quality hay twice a day. But your filly looks good to me.
I thought cow bred horses were meant to be short.
Heres her pedigree-

Most are shorter, but to me 13.1 hands as a two year old seemed TINY! From what I have read from other's post it seems that cutting bred horses mature slower than most running horses. So hopefully that is the case with our filly.... `

My long yearling
(May 2012 foaling date
) is 15hh. He is maybe going to be a few inches taller...but definitely getting WIDER. He is already a tank, but I can't WAIT until he fills out!

It's been awhile but the last time I measure mine she was a little over 14.3. Her sire is 16.1 I believe but her dam is 14 flat on a tall day. I don't feed her any grain, just good quality free choice hay and an Equilix tub.
