I'm so sorry you are going through this. I lost my sister in 2008, she was only 33. Its the hardest thing I've ever gone through and it really took its toll on me for awhile. We were very close and I shut down for a long time. I still have days where I will suddenly burst into tears and still catch myself wanting to call her on the phone. The thing that helped me was talking about her... at first I just shut down and went numb to everything and couldn't even look at pictures of her but once I let myself talk about her with family and my husband it started getting easier to handle. I will keep you in my prayers!

All I can tell you is for me there finally came a time when my first reaction was to smile again when I think of him rather than cry but there will be random out of the blue moments that you miss them and it hurts fresh all over again. Just remember there are those moments that make you smile too.
