Miss Southern Sunshine Posts: 7427 Location: South Central Florida	I knew Lydia when she lived near here. Honestly I had no personal bad dealings with her, however I know a bunch of the stories. I was contacted by the State Attorney's office for some very strange reason once when they were looking for her or a horse she had sold. I think I owned a horse the same color or similar name or something. I won't go into what they told me, but I wasn't the person they were looking for so it didn't matter. I do know "of" her cousin but do not know her name on here. I have not had much personal experience but the limited was not good. Basically she sold a horse to some very good friends. They got out of the business and were selling the horse, I loved the horse and made them an offer but their original deal was if they sold, the original seller (Lydia's cousin) would have first refusal. So she took the horse back for less than I was offering, but that's the deal it was fine. However with in 2 days of her getting the horse, (transporting about a thousand miles) she contacted me and had suddenly decided to sell him... for much more money. I turned the deal down. Next thing...with in days the horse gets hurt and may never run again. I felt bad, he was really a very nice horse. BUT he was doctored and brought back to running. About a year later I get a random e-mail from someone looking at buying the horse. They found me by googling. They were told that I was begging to buy this horse and that the owner did not want my daughter to ever get her hands on this horse...more nonsense detail, blah blah but that she would make them a deal because I was calling her every day and ready to buy immediately. I explained that I was not interested in the horse any longer and told her that after the injury, I would not be interested anyway. They did not know about the injury. I don't even remember the persons name but that was several years ago, maybe 2009? I never really thought much about the rest because she is no one to me, and lives many miles away and as far as I know has never even seen my daughter ride, and I've never met her (that I can remember). However the other mutual friend that owned the horse when I knew him got a call or facebook or something that said I WAS TRASHING HER... fortunately my friendship was stronger than that. Had she not brought my name into the selling of the horse, I would have never thought much about it or her again. Since then I have had other contacts that know both of the cousins and all the stories are similar. I know this is kind of weird, but I pray for Lydia a lot. I never had any dealings with her that went bad, but I never bought or sold anything to or from her. Intentionally. I can tell you that she has a very sincere presence. I wanted to believe everything she ever told me. I wanted to like her, and I wanted to believe she wanted to change. So I just stayed friendly and never put myself in a situation to be scammed. Her little sister was my daughters best friend at one time. They are still friends, but little sister married and moved away, contact is limited now. Also, Roll the Stone runs locally here. I think the people live in maybe Arcadia? Not sure. They use a different name, but everyone recognizes the horse. I just assumed that she sold her to them. I do not know the people personally but I know the horse.

Veteran Posts: 231 Location: On My Horse!	Being that I'm from Florida, I know of her.. I've never done any type of business dealings with, so I can't discuss that aspect. However, I work in law enforcement and how she gets away with what she does is actually pretty impressive. She's good folks. It's a shame she's still living that lifestyle.
