| I've actually used the ones you are talking about - from Wal-Mart or Dollar General, they were cute and didn't bother me - I think I used the stick on kind - not glue. |

Location: Montana | I have a trouble with ingrown toenails, but if you get a bright enough color you can cover up ANYTHING with nail polish. If I could, I'd post a pic of my toenails currently (they are bright teal) you can see what can be done! Muhahahaha.
Yes, we will need an update on the date. |

Had an ingrown toe nail, finally had to go to a foot Doctor and he cut it out and fixed it so it would not grow into my toe anymore, awwww no more pain... |

Location: Hill Country of TEXAS!! | You can do an acrylic overlay which will smooth the surface and polish any color. You can also do Shellac gel cured polish thats thicker and smoothes small ridges. Hope that helps.. This is all followed by a pedicure :) |

| I've done the gels as a polish on my toes and it cleaned up the surface look just fine. However, earlier this year, I messed up one of my big toe nails pretty badly and needed to quick fix it for a party I was planning. I did Kiss ones I think? They were french tips but the color was really off, so I had to repaint the non-white part with a more natural nude color. It worked just fine as long as I clipped my other nails down super short so they didn't show under the stick on. And I used the nail glue so I could make sure they stayed all day. They lasted a week or so before I had to take them off. And that was only because I could see the grow out and didn't like the line. |

Yikes!!! LOL! I have been in the same boat and cut a nail down way below when I was getting ready to go to Vegas. They applied a tip on the one toenail which looked great. I also had the pedi. Actually that tip lasted all summer. Just kept growing out and when it was done the nail was fine again. Old age sucks....I don't care what anyone says!!! |

If she has a toe fungus, she shouldn't go get a pedicure. She could spread that to someone else especially since not all places clean everything properly.
A mix of formaldehyde and iodine smeared on that toe would probably kill that fungus. lol |
