Location: Alberta | This early snow really makes me want to move south. I hate the cold and my horses were not impressed with me when I went out and caught them. Where I live we didn't get nearly the amount of snow as north and/or west of us. My brother sent me a picture of the snow they got where he lives and its just a little skiff, and my uncle who lives about 30-40 minutes away from him got way more snow. Luckily it will all probably be melted by the weekend. (I hope) |

Location: Red Raiderland | You folks up north do realize there is a place called the South, right? I kid! Anyway, y'all are TOUGH people to live up there. Granted it was 97 with a heat index around 101 today, but I would still take the heat over the cold. |

I can not imagine. Hopefully crop insurance will take care of you all? This crazy crazy weather. Does this mean we are going to have a long cold winter? :( |

Ain't it the truth! But I know up here in NE Texas we have had a pretty decent summer. Next year will probably be brutal. |

Location: North Dakota | There's possible snow in my forecast. Yesterday it was 90, today in the 50s, who knows what it'll do next. I LOVE snow, but not this early. The thing I'm really dreading is all the below 0 crap. Cover me in snow, just keep the temp above 10 degrees, and I'm happy. I am really really really happy that summer is just about over though. I HATE hot weather. Any hotter than 75 and I'm just grumpy. Fall is just the most wonderful season.

Owww, and the rain!! Please let it rain!! Our cracks in the pasture have cracks!!! The last couple of weeks there were rain storms all around us, and 9 times out of 10 we would get nothing..... standing in the backyard I could see rain showers all around us, and again we didn't get any..... Since July we maybe had 0.5".... The forcast shows rain for this weekend, and I truly hope we get all of it!! I do have my carhartt's ready, cuz 60's will be freezing compared to the high 90's we've been having !! |
