Location: Northeast SD | Possibly not everyone that was entered on Saturday is entered in Sunday? That could be a reason it is not the exact same for reverse order. This is the first year they are putting this on and I believe they have a larger turn out than expected. I'm sure they are trying to get everything in line and do it right.. |

There needs to be a re draw on Sunday or they are in for a crap storm of epic proportions. Aaah now I see it! Interesting, maybe they are going to drag every 7 will that make a difference?? Dragging every 5 to my knowledge. Have never been there but heard it is deep sand. Which makes running at the bottom of the ground 2 days in a row extra frustrating.
I believe I was there several years ago and the ground is EXCELLENT and shouldn't be too much of an issue. BUT that is old lady talk :) I hope it turns out better than you're expecting for you! I have a feeling that the pen will be able to handle that many runs and be relatively "fair" for everyone. |

| THAT is why there should have been a re draw for Sunday not a reverse order! How does that even work that every single person that draws bottom gets it twice and everyone else is different. This needs to be fixed! It is not ok! |

| That is exactly it... it is correct if you are anywhere but the bottom of the ground. Everyone that got the bottom the first draw, also gets it the second round. Everyone else has a different place on the ground. I don't even understand how that outcome came about, but the fact is that it is an unfair draw. |

| Sorry, I am going to be THAT barrel racer. I did not haul my horses 10 hours to run in an unfair draw. |

| EXACTLY why it should have been re drawn for Sunday not a reverse order. Current draw is an unfair draw. Period. |

Location: West River - SoDak | Can I make a suggestion? Perhaps this would be best handled by contacting one of the girls producing, I know for a fact that they are working their butts off to make this a great event. I know them personally and know that they will be more than willing to talk to you about your issue. Cut them a little slack and give them a call! I would be happy to provide you with contact information through PM, they also have their contact info listed on the website and on the facebook page associated with the event. |

I don't have a bone to pick because I'm going to the SDBRA finals in Huron instead but I will say this. I've run in that pen numerous times and it doesn't matter if I've been top of the ground or bottom, its not deep IMO and the ground is great. My horses love it. You mentioned something about this weekend costing you $5000. That's not the fault of the producer, that's the vet visit. Heck if you want to get technical if both times you run at the bottom of the ground you have a better chance of running a consistant time which gives you a good chance of winning the horse trailer. |

Oh good way to look at it! So really that isn't fair to everyone else that has different ground both days! lol |

Ok, so why not call the producer and voice your concern. If that doesn't work, then ask for your money back and go home. Its not that big of a deal. Do I think its fair to have bottom ground both runs, no, do I think it was done on purpose to screw anyone, NO. It was an oversight on the part of the producers who are young and have jumped into putting on a huge barrel race with both feet. I can honestly say no one else has EVER put on a barrel race up here with $10k added, a horse trailer, and tons of other prizes. So I'm either going to cut them some slack and offer my help, or I'm going to keep my yap shut, but I'm not going to go on social network and complain. Be a part of the solution, not add to the problem. |

Location: Mayerthorpe Alberta | CheckItOut - I think if you have a chat with the producers you will feel better. It sounds like these girls are doing everything they can to put on one heck of barrel race. I hope you get the answers you need and that you have great runs and a ton of fun. Please dont go to the jackpot with bad feelings and ruin your weekend. Good luck and hope things go well at the vet for you. To everyone running GOOD LUCK!!! |

Location: West River - SoDak | Just got off the phone with Maegan and Whitney, and the order will stay reversed as posted, but the rakes will stay in place so anyone that drew bottom on Saturday WILL be top of the ground on Sunday. If there are any more questions let me know and I will do my best to clear it up for you. As you can imagine those girls are busy today! |

That's what I figured they would do. I was so confused why there was so much uproar over the drags when they weren't even posted on the draws. The places that I ran that did a reverse order kept the drags the same. |
