Location: Texas | If this is truly what the health care workers were wearing caring for Duncan, I'm surprised they don't ALL have it considering there was projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea. Good luck getting nurses to care for current or any new patients. I wouldn't for all the money in the world!

Prayers needed for the US. Now, we all need to get after our authorties to find a test for quick diagnosis.
According to a Dr. (sorry don't remember his name) on CNN this morning who treated Ebola patients in the past for several years there is a blood test that can be done before the fever presents. He said the white count bottoms out. I wonder if this test will be done on the 70 workers that cared for Duncan. |

You just got to get mean and mean it.
Location: Arkansas | According to the new's, there is now a second nurse infected and under isolation and obersvation.
Is the hospital providing the health care giver's protection on the cheap? Cover their neck with some kind of medical wrap. Sure sounds like it.
You know, the CDC and WHO can only advise and provide guide line's. |

Yeah, and it turns out she was on an airplane from Dallas to Ohio??? I think? Just heard a snippet. So those other 130-some passengers are now at risk.
This isn't going to stop until our narcissist dictator in chief grows a pair, and actually admits he screwed up and gets his people on board with prevention. Stop people from coming into the country. Too friggin' bad if someone is offended because they have to sit in a quaranteen room for a few weeks. There's way more important things than someone being inconvenienced.
The conspiracy theory type of my brain says it's all apart of his plan. Population control.... |

The conspiracy theory type of my brain says it's all apart of his plan. Population control.... I can't believe that nurse with everything that is going on, got on a plane. I thought they were suppose to be monitoring the people that were in contact with Duncan? She should be charged if she lives. What a mess she has now created.

| My husband flew yesterday from Houston to California on United. The plane was delayed and after takeoff the pilot announced the reason for the delay was the plane just got in from Nigeria and they had to disinfect it. If there is a reason to disinfect the plane maybe there is a reason to not go to where the infection orginates and you won't have the liability of infecting your customers? |

Can you imagine the squealingland huffing and puffing the hospitals and states would do if the Adminstration did mandate the health care for Ebola patient's. The hospital and state's claim they know how to protect their nurses!

It blows my mind how this has been handled, it's like the Keystone Cops- nobody knows what to do or recognizes the need to be more proactive. I can't believe that the CDC didn't fly an experienced team to Dallas to handle Duncan when first diagnosed. |
