Her sire is Frenchmans Harddrive. I have another post about him somewhere on here. Her dam is by Docs Lynx and Mr. Baron Red. The owner doesn't have the mares papers because her in-laws screwed her over on them. So downside, is the filly is not registered/papered.

Since the Frenchman's Guy filly doesn't have papers, you are comparing a grade filly to a registered one. Ultimately, it depends on what you are going to do with them. If papers will never be an option on the grade filly and you have mentioned breeding down the road, I would pass.

Honestly, I would pass on both. Since you are looking at younger horses, keep looking. Be patient and you will find a nicely papered young horse that will be what you are looking for. To me, it sounds like you're trying to fit round pegs into a square hole. Don't talk yourself into a horse. Wait for the one that you are not convincing yourself to buy.

And that's what I was toying with. The paint is pretty, but I'm not looking for just pretty ha. Yes she is registered, but no real proven lines to be passed down if I was to ever breed her. That's the other thing. I like the grade fillies bloodlines more so that the paint, but I'd rather have a registered girl especially if I was to ever think about breeding in the future. I'm not getting either, But it was just funny how both fillies popped up all of a sudden, it got me thinking.
