I'm sorry. I was being snarky. The West is solid blue. I don't know a republican that can take California, Oregon or Wash.Â
The only one that would do well out here would be Paul. A LOT of college students are really getting on board the Libertarian train and are definitely looking for something new. While we are a giant blue stripe on the nation - we do have many many many college kids. I have even heard students at the University of Oregon (liberal mega hotspot) saying that they are tired of Obama and really like what the "Rand Paul guy" is about. |

Scott Walker hasn't written any bills, because he's been busy governing. In my opinion, that's part of the problem.......to many bills, especially ones that confiscate money and suffocate our freedoms. |

I love me some politics, I truly do; BUT I have decided that until people ACTUALLY start throwing their hats in the ring, I am going to try REALLY HARD to not get too attached to anybody OR get my panties in a bunch about anybody. I am trying to remain very zen and optimistic until I have more information.lol |

I find mine in a hot cup of coffee. I have also been abstaining from watching any news but the weather. It has done wonders for my stress level. I tend to watch Fox news like some people watch ESPN - with lots of emotion and gesturing at the TV. |

| How can you pick one over the other until the debates begin and we can see who can hold their own? Since chances are good that it will be against Hillary, I want someone that isn't afraid to confront her. Which, will be a challenge to confront her and not appear to be attacking a woman. It's only okay to attack Palin and her kids. No other woman shall be harmed in the making of this Presidency. |

My point exactly. I really do like Rand though. He makes my political heart go pitter-patter. |

Location: Kansas | Frodo - 2015-03-23 8:11 AM I know not everyone has the respect for Karl Rove that I do but on FOX this morning he described Cruz as "incredibly smart, articulate, and he was in fact a master debater in college. He attended Harvard University, Princeton, and Harvard Law School. Impressive. The fact that he was born in Canada is possibly problematic but if Kenya wasn't an issue why should Canada be.
Ok, someone explain something to me.... If Cruz was born in Canada, how is he going to be able to run for the office of President, being he's not a natural born citizen?? |

He was and is.
His mother is US citizen and his father was cuban immigrant here legally and is now a citizen.
So even if he was born in Canada, he was born in Canada as US citizen

Here is an easy to digest constitutional explanation:
