I like some many different types of music, artists, composers, whatever. Not sure I have a song that continuously defines me. In other words, I'm one of those people who uses music because at any given time it can say what I cannot express. So one day I may feel like Miranda Lambert's Gunpowder and Lead, and the next like Natalie Imbruglia's Torn (those two are just for instance sake). But I love music, love to listen to it, love all kinds of different songs, and can hardly go even across town without the radio on.  I love older musicians/music groups too, from Pink Floyd to Rolling Stones to Dean Martin to Aerosmith to Eartha Kitt to Santana, mostly depending on the mood I'm in.

?Eartha Kitt is the only name in there I don't know and like... let me do some research...

Was she Catwoman in the old Batman show?

Yes!!! (how old are you?)

I watched old reruns when I was younger!!!! I'm 45. . . Dang that looks OLD when it's typed!!!!

Not as old as 57. kitten!!
Brace yourself for the OLD farts!!! Here they come........

Daddy always says that the alternative to a birthday is not a good thing, so I'll keep appreciating each year!

I love that song, especially since I have lived on or near water all my life.  I was born in the sight of the ocean and still feel the draw.  Sometimes I think I am happiest on the water.  During the summer I have slept in my pool on a raft all night.  (with mosquito netting and citronella torches.)

Thank you Thank You THANK YOU!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGYwf7e_cr8

Your welcome. :) She had a lovely singing voice, and I didn't know she was Catwoman (too young for the Batman shows of the era).  I'm about as eclectic and eccentric as they come when it comes to music choices...like I said, it all depends on my mood.

OK, I'll bite...."Everything that kills me makes me feel alive"...from "Counting Stars" by One Republic...it's about taking risks and living your life to the fullest instead of being safe and doing what the mainstream wants you to....
