Me too! The instant you tell me I can't or shouldn't do something, I IMMEDIATELY want to do it. Especially when it's something effing stupid like this. Despite being a born and bred northerner, the fact it's a "Rebel" flag makes me identify with it. It's not racist in the least. I think that the head of the AR NAACP asked the owner of Arkansas Flag and Banner today if she would stop selling the Confederate flag and she said no; she said she had been selling that flag for 40 something years and she would not stop selling a flag one group wanted just because another group asked her to.

I saw a news story yesterday that made me want to vomit...they are gathering signatures to have a street in AR renamed because it's "Confederate St".
Where/When will the madness stop?

This is a HUGE problem with where I work and even a LARGER problem with society today. Very few people want to know the FACTS, THE REAL STORY! They want to make their selves part of the "misery" and they will view reality from a VERY NARROW, SMALL HOLE in a tight box. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | All our problems started when that person got relected, I have never in my 57 years saw so much racism, in fact never did see it growing up we were all the same but now out history is out and we are the bad guys. {I didnt use that name for a reason so hope nobody else does } I bet they go after our flag to since we do stand up against him.

I see them being flown everywhere.....that being said, I DO think that the Confederate flag should not be flown on any government buildings since it is neither a state or federal flag. JMO!
They are selling like hot cakes here. My FB news feed is full of people posting pictures or video of their trucks with the US flag and the confederate flag flying. Then there will be a post that says "I have more confederate flags in!" 150 comments later people are asking when they will get more in. My neighbor has one flying in his front yard. |

The muslim temple wants the church to stop ringing its church bells on Sunday because they are offended!! The next thing that will occur I bet is the national anthem will no longer be palyed at sporting events! Or hospitals will not dress boys in blue and girls in pink anymore!! This country has turned into a total wimp! We better all wake up and put a real leader with brains in office this time!!! We look like fools to the rest of the world! |
