They are meaningless because they aren't designed to give an accurate representation of public sentiments across the board. The real polls like Quinnipiac are designed to at least attempt to be accurate.
What I thought was interesting was the "Focus" group that they assembled to watch the debate.....coming into the debate it was a majority support for Trump....after the debate that group dropped him like a "hot potato".....Only two or three still saw him as a viable candidate. They had shifted to Cruz and Rubio.
Instead of answering the questions, Trump danced around them and tried to make jokes that fell flat! He puts out a lot of "hot air" about what he is going to do....forgetting that he has to have the backing of the Republicans in Congress, who, he has been very adept at p*ssing off.........As long as he stays in the race, IMO, it will take that much longer for a viable candidate to be able to take on Hillary. |

There is a really good field but politics may not get you anywhere this year. The only one that really pulls of being a good politician and a to the point realist is Ted Cruz. Fox purposefully gave him little time and he used it well. He is my candidate no doubt.
I am closet Trump fan and he is good for this process, take it to the media and say what needs to be said. I do think he could win, and if he does, he has a 50/50 chance at being a good President, but he certainly has the risk of being a terrible one. That is what concerns me most about him.
Go Ted Cruz! |

I did see that part last night, and I agree it was pretty striking. I think Trump resonates with a lot of people who are fed up with our "stupid leaders" as he refers to them. We gave the GOP a majority in both houses, and so far what have they accomplished? Obama is still running roughshod over them.
If Trump decides to pull a Perot, then the Democrat candidate will easily coast to a win. He will always have a pretty significant following because people are pis$ed off.
Fortunately the election is over a year away. That's an eternity in politics.
Lots can and will happen. |

Just done sorry but we've had politicians that have all the right answers what has it got us.....That would be Obama. Twice.
Border is still basically open no one does nothing bout that.
Obamacare......it's not affordable sorry that's a lie. My premiums increase to a $1200.00 monthly $12k deductible for 2 people.

They went after Trump on a personal level that they didn't stoop to with the other candidates. I've always liked Megyn, but last night was not one of her finer moments. She showed immediately that she didn't like Trump, and gushed over Carson. I like Carson as well, but last night showed that while he is a brilliant man, he is more than likely in over his head. He's confident about what he knows, but he doesn't know much about foreign policy. The presidency is backed up by more resources than ever before...and a non-politician can come into office and do a good job. They have to come in and act like they own the place though....That's how we ended up with a two term president who was previously a "community organizer" Senator with no actual record or experience. |

It felt like they were more intent on pitting Paul and Trump against each other and then Paul and Christy....it was more like a passive aggressive dog fight. |

Why.......because it showed that he really does NOT respect most women.........and NOT just Rosie O'Donnell. Have you ever watched his TV show or really listened to him (about and his interactions with women)? He only respects those that he can intimidate! |

I agree with all of you. I thought the after show was meant nothing more than to prove that Trump was not a viable person in this race. The focus group that the "Tommy Boy" look a like had gathered up was obviously a carefully hand picked group to prove a point, and that is that Trump isn't our guy. I was VERY disappointed in Megyn and her after debate show last night and how she chose to sway the situation. The Donald scares the HE!! out of these analysts and politicians because he won't dance like a chicken when the heat is turned up on the stage. He doesn't care about status quo, and he isn't going to be bullied into the popular decision. I'm so sick of politicians telling us what we want to hear and then doing nothing. Every one is so polished and so vanilla.....I want some Strawberry or orange sorbet, dang it!
I'm not saying that Trump is the guy, but he is refreshing and I think it would be interesting to see what he would get done in Washington. It may go very bad, but it may go very well. I hope he gets the shot to at least try! |

I was also not impressed with Rand although I do like him for the most part. Christi, Jeb, and Kasich all suck. I can NOT STAND any of them. I liked Scott Walker but he didn't really stand out that much. I was very impressed with how Huckabee, Kruse, and Fiorina and think Rubio and Carson are also in the top as well. Really I'd be happy to see any of them get the nomination. |

No. Because it was obviously mud slinging politics. She's still trying to get some to stick in a tactic that has ALWAYS worked before... She's madder than he|| about the fact a time proven method of operation is not working against what she believes to be a buffoon. And she wonders why he does not show more respect. |
