Regular Posts: 55 Location: Middle TN	rodeomom3 - 2015-12-03 10:31 AM Oh no, I am so sorry. Our yorkie-poo survived a coyote attack. We moved her to a specialty clinic, many $$ later she survived. Prayers your Willa does the same. The specialty clinic did exploratory surgery to be sure her stomach was not punctured, which was not. Hope you get to visit and stay with your Willa some. Thank you. I will hopefully get to see her tomorrow. I'm on my last of 3, 12 hour shifts today. A family friend has been staying by her side for us and keeping us updated. We miss her very much, but know that she is in great hands!

Regular Posts: 55 Location: Middle TN	UPDATE: Willa is hanging in there. She has had to have damaged/infected tissue removed from around and inside several of the wounds. She has lost some weight, but has began eating and drinking on her own again. One of the vet techs has offered to take her in for us for close monitoring and wound care due to our work schedules not allowing us to provide the care she needs right now. She is in great hands. The vet tech seems more optimistic than the vet himself. Willa is much more comfortable getting to be in an actual home and away from the vet office atmosphere. We are keeping faith and hoping and praying for a full recovery. It is possible! What a Christmas gift that would be to have her on the mend and at home with us to watch her "person" open his gifts on his 1st Christmas morning! Thank you so much for your continued thoughts and prayers! They mean so much (:
