No idea, but it was rude, and the OP is the one that said something about being butt or but hurt, dont' know what that means either but if it's not there now, she deleted it.

You guys seem pretty mean. Put your claws away, dang. I went back and re-read what the OP posted and I didn't see anything rude. I think some people on here took some things to heart and started spitting fire. If you get upset because you spent 10 mins looking for some studs for someone that in the end was just honestly curious about them then don't look the horses up in the first place. I think its weirdly heartless to get THAT upset over wasting a few minutes of your time simply to have a conversation with someone. I guess those of you that look at it that way have time MUCH more valuable than mine. I don't think it was immature for someone to want to talk about, discuss or look at terribly built horses lol. I think its a topic of conversation.... not an insult. I just don't understand where everyone started getting insulted by the thread.
If your time is valuable enough to act this way over looking up a few studs to talk about, don't go looking things up for people anymore because the moment they don't use whatever information you have found you are going to upset and be angry with them over it. The OP did not request that anyone go out of their way to do anything. Those that did, did it willingly, then got upset.
The reaction to this post blows my mind a little.
Who cares what derped means. She obviously wants all of this to go away due to how bad the response was. Simple conversation turned roast.
Lol, this whole thing is sadly comical. Why is everyone so stirred up? It just goes back to "why are people so rude". Lighten up people. |

I understand. I guess the people she was referring did actually get "butt hurt"
By the way, butt hurt means offended and in her defense, a lot of people actually did get offended.... then they got even more offended when she pointed it out.
Who has that meme of "Bob got offended by something on the internet and kept scrolling. Good for you Bob." |

How do you handle it when people hurt your feelings in a public setting, like when you are at work? Don't you work in a horse/animal environment ?
Do do you just walk away or do you offer advice? |

I guess what I should have said was, it wasn't the original post that was necessarily the problem. It was kind of a slap in face to "thank" people like she did. It's kinda like she was saying that the people who didn't answer like she wanted were easily confused (like calling them stupid) and got butt-hurt when they were asking for clarification and trying to answer a rather confusing post.
I agree, it's been an interesting thread and I learned a lot, too, lol. But, she needs to learn to be a little more polite. This thread could have gone in a whole different direction if she hadn't worded that reply like she did.
e.t.a.: Like what swannranch said. Sorry, I didn't read your reply til after I posted this.

I am not really bent out of shape, I haven't taken any of this to heart. I was just surprised by the claws that came out.
As for the question, I don't know really what I do when I get my feelings hurt at work. I don't remember when the last time that happened was. I'm pretty good about not taking stuff to heart. I guess when I forget to chart something or what not it bothers me pretty bad but its no ones fault but my own so I pretty much just think about it all day lol. I do work in a horse/ animal environment. Equine vet and feed store. Well, I guess there is one person at the vet that can get a hold of me pretty easy. She thinks she knows more than anyone and has threatened myself and a few others physically a few times. I just keep it to myself though. I guess I don't do anything outwardly to people at work other than get real quiet but I rant to my Finace when I get home lol |

lol. I work all the dang time. About 75 hours a week. I work front desk at the feed store doing book work so I am on the computer all day here and I work nights at the vet so I just take care of treatments and emergencies. I have learned a crazy amount of stuff from BHW and always have a million things going through my head about the horses. Its hard not to post 1000 things at night. |

I think young and old could relate. No one is perfect. I think its a matter of if someone is willing to try to relate. I think at one time or another we have all put our foot in our mouth. What is that saying about pointing out the speck in someone else's eye while not being able to see the log in your own. Scripture or not, there's a point to it. |
