I was just thinking about the date this will be done live on Feb. 10. I am sure it is a scheduling issue at this late in the plan that it couldn't have been on a weekend. The middle of the week just seems odd to me and a bit funny. Hey let's have it on Wednesday. Oh wait.......... regular folks usually have to work on Wednesday. It also seems odd to me that it will take RFD-TV a week to air it on Feb. 17. At first I thought I read it was going to air the 14th, but I see on their Facebook page they responded with the 17th.
Lindsay posted a video of her riding Martha this past week. It's a public page. Anyone can view it no matter whether you have Facebook or not. She posted it would take a miracle to get both Martha and herself ready. Martha looks good.
https://www.facebook.com/lindzfanpage/
I will enjoy watching it nonetheless.

I would also like to know which horses the other contestants in this match will be riding. Who will be hazing for the bulldoggers too?
I think it would be interesting to see if and what they are all doing to prepare for this. Working out differently? Eating differently? Losing weight? Practice runs per day
(ropers/bulldoggers....not the barrel racers
)?

They are having a qualifier over the weekend for the American so it all ties together. There aren't that many seats available at the Rose Palace so even if they sell out they would still probably go in the hole so airing it on TV is where they will make up for that.

Kelly is running 2 nice buckskins. One is Ima Firefighter. The other is a very proven rodeo horse that runs in TX and is as solid and consistent as a rock. I'm excited for her.
I have mixed feelings about the lowered entry fees for some trying again. IMO everyone should pay the same entry fee. I think they also need to have a set schedule of qualifiers at the beginning of the year and quit adding. But regardless the American is the premier rodeo now and is driving horse prices up so it's all good.

It was $500 on the entry form. Where did you see that it would be some other fee?

It's been stated by several people that they offered a reduced entry fee to people entering the qualifier at the Rose Palace if you had entered a prior 2016 qualifier and did not qualify yet.
Part of the fees are jackpotted that day and the rest
(minus office charges
) goes to the semis and finale. That's why I don't think that's fair.

I agree with the way they keep adding qualifiers. It would suck to travel a long distance for one and then at the end of season have one in your backyard.
As far as the lowered fees...it's just another way to suck people back in to help pay for everything. At least they paid the big bucks once like everyone else did. It would really suck if everyone could enter at the lowered do over fee.

It's on RFDTV Facebook page. Their word choice for the description of it didn't seem very nice. They used the word "whupping". That seems rude.

Videos of all the runs are on the Facebook page called Behind the Alley.According to the videos Lindsay ran three different horses; Moe, Hemi and a Palomino. I didn't knew they could run three different horses, I thought it was supposed to be two horses four runs??????
