| streakysox - 2016-04-16 2:01 PM I got an advertisement that was some kind of special of the day on Facebook. It was a foldable device for women to be able to walk around behind a building, insert it in their pants and be able to pee standing up. You could fold it and put it back in your pocket. It was supposed to be convenient to do this. I don't know how their sales were but I really have no desire to pee standing up. (I have lived all over the world and in many countries there is a hole in the floor and women do stand to pee) I have known several men who have been arrested for finding a convenient place to pee so don't know what police would do after they got over the shock of finding a woman standing there peeing. This for real. I emailed the ad to barrelhorseusa. He can back me up.

It's my job to protect my daughter not worry over if I hurt someone's feelings.

A pervert is a pervert. There are female perverts and male ones. A female perv could just as easily go in with your daughter. This is true and probably the best point in favor of letting trans gender folks go into women's restroom. I really don't care. Those guys in the mens' room certainly were courteous when I barged in there at Walmart. I was in a hurry. Why would you let your 8 yr old child go in a public bathroom alone? I wouldnt. Besides a male transgender (dressed as a female ) is NOT going to be interested in your little girl. They are females born in a male body. Period. They are NOT gay. "They are females born in a male body." But how does that even work??? It's like you're saying God made a mistake when he created them. His wonderful work leaves no room for mistakes; no one is born with the “wrong body".
In situations like this, they will 9/10 give them female anatomy. I've heard it said before on the topic that it's easier to make a hole than to make a pole. |

 Really?  Bruce Jenner says he is still attracted to women not men.
I personally think Bruce Jenner's "big change" was 1. a publicity stunt and 2. a desperate act to keep his butt out of jail.
A true transgender want's to be the opposite sex, they don't to be with them. Jenner on several occasions stated he was not going to have the surgery and now he is saying how hard it is to be a woman. He never intended on being a woman. He wanted more publicity and a way for the courts to go "what the hell are we gonna do now?" |

He started getting plastic surgery long before his legal troubles started. |

| There are many times that I have to let my 9 year old son go into a public restroom by himself. He is too old to go into the Ladies restroom with me and it would be frowned on if I went into the men's room with him. This makes me nervous, so I just stand outside of the men's room and hope that he comes out quickly. The transgender thing does make me nervous. |

Yet "it" dressed in mini-skirts, high heels, silk blouses AND used the ladies restroom. We did not like that but luckily it only appeared at our facility once or twice a month.
I had an individual like that come into my office to file a complaint against a state hospital......He/she dressed as a woman and idenified as "olivia" yet when came into the office told the receptionist the name was "Bo." Flat out told me wanted to file because he/she was transgender, and a hermaphrodite.......lots of mental instability with this person. Ended up not being able to help. Not even 10 minutes after this person left my office, I walked into the ladies restroom, as they were walking out. That was my first ever experience. |

Many people for this say that transgender people have been going to the restroom of their choice for years and many if us didn't know so why should it bother us now. If they have been doing this for years then why do we need to make a law to make it legal? To me it is completely absurd, especially for locker rooms. There were many times that a boy would wait in the locker room to sneak a peek when I was playing basketball in high school. A step in the wrong direction for women's rights if you ask me.
I have nothing against transgender, gay, etc. To each their own. Everyone has to answer to their own god in the end so do whatever you feel is right for your own life, however I (like many) feel uncomfortable with a man in the ladies bathroom. I agree with Kakbarrelracer. Why should we change a law for a few when the majority feel uncomfortable. Why should their right be more important than mine? |

THe male to female person is actually trans AND gay. Meaning, they are a lesbian female trapped in a mans body... SO if you see them, he LOOKS male and dates women.. Hope that makes sense. So yes, you can be trans AND gay but its far more rare. |

That being said....if it truly is just a VERY small percentage of folks that are truly transgender (and I can't imagine what a difficult thing that is)...why does it seem like they are coming out of the woodwork all of a sudden? Is it just the trendy thing to do these days?

Thanks for clearing that up... to this I say... the human body, brain and hormones are bizarre. As hard as I try, I do not understand it, but I support whoever feels the need to be something different than what they were "made". I was raised old school by the book, there is no such thing as gay, trans what have you, if you are you choose to be and it is a sin. I used to think this way as well, until about high school when I realized a friend of mine was gay. I knew it before she did and when she came out I supported her then as I do now. Her decision, or there lack of(?) (I really don't feel it's a "decision" in most cases) is between her and God on judgement day. I do not personally know any one that is "transgender" and what I read and watch is very vague.
This bathroom issue is something I struggle with. I understand the concerns of both sides of the fence and am stuck somewhere in the middle. I can definitely see the concern for predator behavior. |

| Why would a male whom identifies as a woman or vise versa even WANT to do their business in the bathroom that they simply identify with? Is it because they are uncomfortable that they look like a woman in a man's room? Well now they know how a woman feels if a man walks into a woman's room. Both feelings are equal and legit, so why is anything being changed other than we as a society should be protecting our children at all cost. Frankly, if I was a male that identified as a woman, I'd stay the hell away from women's bathrooms for fear of being accused of something I didn't do. Nothing is making sense these days. Nothing.
