rodeomom3 - 2016-04-28 7:12 AM  I have to give props to Fallon.  My friends 17 year old daughter is a barrel racer.  She has lost the feeling in her left leg and has been in the hospital for 3 weeks.  They think it is related to  a previous neck injury that happened in August.  A face time phone call was arranged with Fallon to lift her spirits.  Fallon was great and has called her  back several times to check on her.  It has really brightened this girls day and kept her motivation high to keep working hard in therapy.

fallon nows alll to well about nec injuries c1c2 she is blessed

What website are you talking about? www.falontaylor.com  ??Are her clinics called the run home tour? Why not just call it a clinic schedule? lol

I think Fallon is pretty famous for RUNNING HOME ..

I'm hoping her wild riding is a thing of the past. At the one ERA her foot got stuck up in the cantle on first. She was forced to sit quiet and ride since she was stuck. It was her best time. She said that she was going to start trying to ride quieter.

Why would anyone want to go to one of her clinics or send their child to one to learn how to ride like that?? It just blows my mind.

I agree with Frodo, she either needs a bigger horse or needs to lose weight. Weight loss combined with better, quieter riding would really help her.

Flame away........I just cringe everytime I see someone ride like that, I don't care how fast or who they are.

Just glad no one ever took away my rodeo or 1D check for not doing it right according to their standards. Maybe I didn't even think to ask them if I needed to lose weight when I got paid? Who knows...... probably because I'm not skinny and didn't want to know the answer. I just cashed the checks.

And fyi, I don't know Fallon at all other than seeing her at the rodeos when she comes out west. I guess I'm too busy worrying about myself and the results than how someone else rides or how much they weigh. But, to each their own. Keep on keepin on.

I do agree that we should always keep an open mind to learning new things and improving our horsemanship.

A friend of mine went to the one she did in Redmond, OR said she enjoyed it and learned a lot. Not to bash on my friend, seeing her runs after the clinic they weren't much different then before the clinic. I guess I expect to see improvements in turns and not only horse but in rider also if you are going to spend that much money on a clinic.

I love when people are told they aren't winning right.

?????? someone who has made the NFR several times, always in contention for a world title , told they need to lose weight or get a bigger horse. Now that funny. When my mom went to NFR she was 5'2" and weighed 102 pounds. Not fair. She needed to gain some weight so the others would have a chance. Nobody that small should ever be allowed to compete, it's not fair to all the jelous wanna bees sitting on the fence criticizing the elite.

Oh barrelracinbroke I know you personally and I wish more on this board did to. If only they knew what you had accomplished in your career and who these people were talking to. You all need to get a grip and read what little she posts on here!!! She doesn't post much or that often but when she does, she knows her Sh$&&&. She could easily come on here and brag but she never will. ??

My thoughts on Fallon is that shes a really good hand at riding Baby Flo, I think they fit each other real nice, nothing wrong with Fallons weight. Theres a reason why shes where she is now, shes good at what she does, no reason to be talking about how bad a rider she is, I dont see it, shes moves around alot, just her style, she is who she is.
Edit cause spell check.

Wow your mom was a tiny little thing, would love to see a picture of her at the NFR
