She looks great!  When your rocket is only 14h and 1000 lbs ( maybe)  losing 25 lbs and eliminating tack weight makes a big diff ( 1/2 sec ) esp with a tall rider who still weighs 130+ fit compared to the short girls who weigh 100lbs and are on 16h long strided rockets. As for tack , every bit helps but some horses need breast collars and rear cinches as they are stouter! My horse is 17h and 1450 lbs . I dont like to cut a horse in half to keep the saddle put lol. He really likes a no weight treeless but dang it was hard to stay w him, it is a big difference than a Babyflo type , which I had for 12 years.  With TS being no1 and is a tack mimialist w her Brazilian; and FT scorching after losing weight , a copycat fad is bound to happen . Breastcollars are for safety and I don't like to ride wo one I could care less what some pro does . I can put an English huntplate on : mite weigh a lb :

I wonder if she will ever find a saddle she really likes and stick with it? I've never seen a pro change saddles as much as she does on the same horse.

I wonder about this as well! Brazillian, bob marshall, circle y tammy, and now her own brand... lots of changes and back and forth with the saddle situation.

Whoever pays the bills, it seems....

I remember when flipping rejected cutting horses and selling them as 1D horses when they were just loping a set paid the bills. But that's none of my business though *sips my tea*

I think most of her fans are too young to remember that tho.

I thought she looked a lot better in the after picture too but, if you look at Flo's shoulder, she's not in the same stride in the top picture compared to the bottom. I would really like to see both pictures with it not cropped, so you could see what part of the stride they were in. If they were both taken with the left front leg in full extension, she may look just as stretched out in the before picture. A video would really help to compare.

Not to steal the thread, but do you run barrels on a 17 hand horse?  Just asking because I have a filly here that is 16.3, she is just three but I doubt she is going to grow anymore (hope not anyways), and she is such an athlete.  I would love to buy her if I get a chance but hubby thinks she is too big.  I want to find some competitive horses around her size so I can change his mind.  This filly can drag her hiney like no other and we never even asked her to since she is in race training.

?Back to the topic, I either use both a BC and back cinch or don't use either one of them.  I think it is unsafe to just use one or the other, JMO.

Are we allowed to speak her name on here now? Lol, I haven't been online in a few years, but still remember when we would get banned or deleted for even hinting at FTs name.

I haven't found one big enough to fit my tank so I haven't used one in a while. So far it's made no difference. I'd be more concerned with having one if I were roping or out on more difficult terrain.
