| I bought a Dash for Royal Gold/ DUal Pep bred 3 year old. Already cutting Buffalo and has a nice handle and stop. So I will have plenty of time to bring him along nice and slow! I got a fair deal and they are hauling him 1000 miles for me. Couldnt be happier!

TMEquine - 2017-02-06 2:40 PM Southtxponygirl - 2017-02-06 11:28 AM No, could never have just one horse, thats un American, lol.. Haha, I like this answer! Maybe I'm a closet American, cause my pasture is sure getting full.
In my whole life I have never had just one horse, right now I have 4 up here at the house and 1 mini, 3 out in my back pasture and 3 donkeys in my front pasture.. Yes you must be American deep down, lol..
What does having 25 mean then ... Lol I'm bad Sh!t crazy I know. Sometimes I miss having only a couple but then I think about how hard I've worked to collect these guys |

| I have just one and have only had one for several years. Thought I would like that better but actually I don't. It makes me obsess too much about the one I have - plus I like to have a project horse. I am actually shopping for another one. :) |

Location: WI | I spend too much money on my one horse, I'm pretty sure I can't afford another one! I board, so that definitely makes a difference. Once I have my own place I'd like to get another 1 (or 2 lol). |

Location: Cocoa, Florida | I went from 3 to 1 and my life has never been better!! Although I do miss having multiple horses especially when one goes lame, but my wallet sure is happy! I like having one and being able to put everything into him, and have extra money for some fancy tack if I want it! (Which I don't, I'm cheap lol)
I have a family now so family comes first, I'm sure later in life I will go back to having one or two more when we have more time. |

Location: Southern Alabama | I started with one, then got to 13. Then, down to six. Then, down to 3. Then, down to one for a year or so. Now, 2. I have an older paint mare, who is my son's horse. And, then, the grulla roan mare who isn't broke yet. I enjoy having something to fool around with. But, I miss having something to run. She'll get there, slowly buy surely. She's a nice mare, so I like being able to sink a lot of my time into her. The paint mare is a saint... can leave her standing fo 6 months and she is the same horse every time. |

Location: Idaho | Yep, only have one right now! I had 3, but one passed away and I sold the other one because he just was not a barrel horse. One horse works for me right now, he is still young and I have been doing a lot of riding, exhibitions, exposure etc. on him and I know if I had a more broke horse, I probably wouldn't have gotten as far as I have with this one!
Eventually I will probably get a second, but right now just having one works for me! |

Location: Somewhere around here | Technically we have 4 horses right now; 3 Haflingers and 1 Quarter Horse but that one QH is all mine and I have nothing to do with the Haffys. In high school me + my parents had about 4 or 5 at the max and only had 1 in college. So I've been at both ends of the spectrum and it's nice to have two horses, especially if you need a backup horse, but I love giving all my attention to one horse too ?? |

| I have just one horse. Sometimes I wish I had a 2nd horse. I board so I just can't justify the cost right now. Maybe some day I will suck it up and do it when my mare is a bit older and I have more time to justify spending the money. |
