Oh she has a video and an image on her Instagram and it says that a .53 is the arena record and that she had ran a .59. It appears, though, that I have no idea what I'm talking about haha 
ETA: She posted the video on Saturday. NOT Sunday. My mistake.
Sabrina Ketchum ran the .53 last year. Right? They said that was a new record. . . then.
Wild West Promotions has their own arena records for their shows and a bounty on it. Tiany previously held it Carly beat it and thats what was announced but it is not the real "arena" record just the show record. |

I believe they have more runs Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and take the top 10 of those 3 rounds to the finals on Sunday. |

| Just lay it all out there for those of us who forgot from last year. I have googled and cant find a simple "how to get to the American" road map...
top 10 from each qualifier across the nation = 170 by my count
Semi finals (today) = top 30 fastest
So we've established that, now everyone else is done and these 30 run again??
sorry sorry I just cannot remember and can't find. |

Yes. These top 30 will be broken down into 3 pre-performances. I don't know if they go top to bottom or do a separate draw for the performances. But all will run one more time. The top 10 times over all 3 performances go to the American. |

correct, here are the rules - Semi-Finals
The Semi-Finals will consist of all qualifying contestants from the qualifier events, plus the 2016 BBR World Champion, the 2016 College National Finals Rodeo World Champion, the 2016 High School National Finals Rodeo World Champion, the 2016 Indian National Finals World Champion, the 2016 Pikes Peak of Bust Rodeo Champion and the possible RFD-TV Exemption Match or Exemption contestant. These individuals have already paid their $500 entry fee at the qualification races, so there is no entry fee. Semi-Finals Qualifier contestants will run one slack run. The top 30 times from slack will proceed to the Semi-Finals ShootOut Round where they will be split into three sets of 10.   The Semi-Finals ShootOut round will be run as three rodeo performances (10 contestants each performance). After those 30 individuals run in the performances, along with the possible RFD-TV Exemption Match or Exemption contestant, the top 5 or 10 times (depending on the total number of participating contestants who entered a qualification race) and the possible Exemption Match winner, or Exemption contestant, will solidify their spot in THE AMERICAN.
The pay-out at the Semi-Finals will come from 25% ($125) of the $500 entry fee that contestants paid at the qualification races. 20% of the total purse will be paid in the slack round. 80% will be paid out in the ShootOut round after the rodeo performances.
