 Scooters Savior
Location: "Si Fi" Ville | I know it's a drive but I'm always here and anyone is welcome. I have plenty of stalls and turn outs. I'm in North Louisiana, 1 hour west of Monroe. My place is 5 minutes off of I-20. I have a hookup, barns, bedrooms, and breakfast. We are extremely clean, neat, and orderly and my horses are fully vetted. You are always welcome. Whether you are evacuating or have broken down.
Our doors are always open. |

If you are evacuating to a hotel/motel and they say they DON'T accept pets, don't get ugly, but simply tell them that is against the law & FEMA established that after Hurricane Katrina!
The Pets Evacuation and Transportation Standards Act (PETS) was a bi-partisan initiative in the United States House of Representatives to require states seeking Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance to accommodate pets and service animals in their plans for evacuating residents facing disasters.
The more you know!!! Stay Safe everyone!!!!

| I saw an interesting tip that looks like it might have some legs. Put important documents or other things you wish to protect from water damage ....in the dishwasher..... it is meant to be water proof. Maybe a just in case measure if you can't evacuate or cannot take everything with you.
Stay safe to all who are facing Mother Nature's wrath be it flood or wild fire.
We are a lot farther than Louisiana but have a spare room electric hook up and a couple of small pasture lots with run in sheds, just don't expect an immaculate house, lol. |

Location: Pittsburg, Texas 75686 | I am from Texas....please don't stay in Florida, evacuate for your safety and lives. I know you have all seen pictures of the what Hurricane Harvery did to Texas. Don't be late leaving. I live in NE TX a little over an hour West of Shreveport and would be more than glad to help. Marshall City Arena in Marshall, Texas has stalls and hookups. Also, the Martha Josey ranch is right there and Martha always allows people to stay. |

Location: Florida | I live in Brevard County, just west of I-95. Any further west and I wouldn't stay that is getting into the St. Johns River Flood Plain. Lots of new construction a little south of me that may find that out by next week. I think the river will reclaim its own. Who builds an entire subdivision of $1 million homes in a flood plain? Developers buy politicans who don't care about the long term problems and the taxpayers end up cleaning the mess up.
