Remember when Dennis Rodman dressed up as a bride? Lol!! I couldn't find a picture.
He sure is a strange/weird fella that is worth millons and has not jumped off a bridge..
Yikes!!! Shock value lol!
Yup. My stud horse's name is Famous and Shameless but his barn name is Rodman. This is why. It's darn sure memorable.

Look, I don’t care who he is. It’s plainly obvious to me that he, and people like him, go to great lengths to look as outrageous and outlandish as possible. They do this for reasons clearly illustrated by the comments on this thread, namely, to attract attention. I don’t feel sorry for him. He’s getting what he craves.....attention. This is nothing new. Tiny Tim did it. Liberace did it. Boy George did it. Alice Cooper did it. Izzy Osborn did it. Even Lady GaGa does it.
I don’t feel sorry for them. We are the fools, not them. Apart from their freakish appearance, they all have/had one thing in common......wealth. Obscene wealth. The joke isn’t on them.....it’s on us.
I don't feel sorry for him either, and agree 100% that this was done for attention. He knew exactly what he was doing when he put together this outfit. My problem is the mean spirited nature of posting a pic KNOWING the response it's going to get, and people openly bragging about being bigoted toward people who are different from them. It's the hypocrisy of "I'm a God fearing Christian who does everything by the bible, but if you aren't just like me and do something I don't agree with, I'm going to judge and discriminate against you". I don't think Jesus would approve of that, lol. And before anyone blasts me with accusations of being a liberal, I vote Republican like the majority of you Is this guy's style my taste? Definitely not...I prefer my men rugged and manly, lol. But kudos to him for having the confidence to rock a crazy outfit when most people are too scared to be themselves out of fear of what people are going to think of them.

So we're now posting pics of people we don't know so we can mock their appearance. Sweet!
To me this is no different of that video that you posted of the man riding his horse that you didnt like his way of riding/training..

So to you, me posting a video asking why someone is riding a particular way is equivalent to posting a photo of someone for the sole purpose of making fun of him? How is that even remotely the same? ETA: this is the post you're referring to, I'd love for you to point out where I'm making fun of him http://forums.barrelhorseworld.com/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=484746&start=1

We are giving people like this precisely what they want....attention and wealth. I think characterizing people’s comments on these intentionally outrageous costumes as “bigoted” is a stretch, wouldn’t you say? They want to garner the most attention on freak show central. Lady Gaga wearing a dress made of tenderloins was not a religious or ethnic costume. Saying we are “bigots” for making fun of deliberately freakish costumes is an unfair mischaracterization of our intent. This doesn’t have anything to do with Jesus or bigotry. Jesus gave us free will. These people are honing their craft and promoting themselves for personal gain....exercising free will. We get a few laughs....they get the attention......everyone is happy. Nobody is harmed. Jesus is smiling.

I’m guessing she was being facetious, but why don’t you ask her? Nonetheless, there’s nothing bigoted about poking fun at someone’s deliberate attempt at garnering attention and being outrageous. Give it up ....... he dressed FOR REACTIONS .......this is from the article that YOU posted ..... "And Roth, being a Broadway producer, knows how to get theatrical: he turned a video of him in the outfit into GIFs he then posted to Instagram. Bold? Sure. But not exactly new for Roth, who’s made a habit of rocking men’s couture—that is, extravagant custom-made clothing typically worn by women but not so much by guys—on red carpets. But the homemade GIFs weren’t just about letting fans share a really great outfit. The real hope was to spread the message behind the rose-inspired look, synced up with the one behind Hadestown"

I’m guessing she was being facetious, but why don’t you ask her? Nonetheless, there’s nothing bigoted about poking fun at someone’s deliberate attempt at garnering attention and being outrageous. This isn’t about someone’s race, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnicity. No....nobody was harmed by these comments.....except you.
Lol, I'm truly not harmed, offendend, or butt-hurt by anything that's been said, either about the original post, or about me. I also don't care that Roxy thought she'd start sh!t by bumping an old post I made that is not even remotely related to this one.
I get what you're saying and agree with the majority of it.
My bad for thinking I could defend people who are too afraid to speak up for themselves.

So let me get this straight. You think these people are “afraid” to speak up and defend themselves. Really? What makes you think these people are so afraid? Are you really that naive?
I stand corrected. They aren’t the ones looking for attention. You are.
Holy geeze, you are totally not getting what I'm saying. I'm obviously doing a terrible job trying to convey what I'm thinking. I'm talking more big picture. No, this guy and the celebs like him don't need ANY defending by little peons like me. I get it, everyone is making fun of this specific person in the photo. They think it's all in good fun. What they are not taking into consideration is how regular people who struggle with their own identity see negative comments like these, and it makes them feel even worse about themselves. They just want to put on sparkly clothes and be happy because it's not hurting a single soul to do so. But they don't, because they don't want to be ridiculed. No, THESE comments on THIS thread are not directed towards anyone other than the dude in red in the photo. But that doesn't mean others won't apply those comments to themselves, even if that was not the intention. Is it a stretch to apply that thinking to this "light-hearted" post? I don't know, maybe. My point is that you can't tease one single person and assume that not a single other human being is affected by those comments, even if you didn't want them to be.

And before anyone blasts me with accusations of being a liberal, I vote Republican like the majority of you
Is this guy's style my taste? Definitely not...I prefer my men rugged and manly, lol. But kudos to him for having the confidence to rock a crazy outfit when most people are too scared to be themselves out of fear of what people are going to think of them.

The guy in red has no problem sticking up for himself or he wouldn’t have chosen such a provocative outfit. And by provocative, I mean he was TRYING to get reactions from people. If he were afraid to stick up for himself, he would not have chosen that type of outfit.
