I dont hear of girls wanting to go play in the mens sports but maybe 1 or 2 like football.  If they had football for girls only they probably woundnt want to play mens football.  But I am shocked how many men wants to play with the girls!!!! How can the help your ego??? that you beat a girl.  dont get me wrong I know girls can beat men but we are made different!!!

I'm proabably not wording right but surely you get what I mean!!!

First off. I'm NOT supporting the practie of letting a Transgender individual playing on the other sex's team. I'm still mulling it over in my brain and trying to decide where I do land on that issue.

I've had conversations with people that call themselves transgender. I honestly think that, for a truly trans person, this would not be a case of a boy wanting to compete with girls to boost their ego. Instead it is someone who truly thinks they are and were supposed to be born a girl. To them, they are a girl wanting to play on the girls team.

For me, the sticking point is in jr high, high school and college sports. Before a person actually transistions with hormone therapy, a person born biologically male would proably seem have the athletic advantage because of their body make up and hormone levels. It definitly doesn't seem fair to allow someone who is hormonally male to compete against someone who is hormonally female. Espically when there are college scholorships potentially involved.

Once someone moves into the professional level, it doesn't bother me as much. Someone born biologically male but transistioned to female might have a slightly larger body mass or leg/arm length, but it probably wouldn't be much different from some the freakishly large/tall and athletic biological females that are competing professionally anyways. For me, once a reasonably long period of time has passed so all the male hormones are out of the system- then why not? That has gone on in professional sports since the late 70's. Women sports are still just fine and dominated by women.

you lasted longer than I thought you would.

but the true lean finally showed up.

SNORT!!!

Because I'm not a programmed robot to only display what one side thinks or believes?

No thank you- I can think for myself.

There are very few things in this world that are completly black and white. I'm not so closed minded that I can't see that.

I've been an contradiction to folks my entire life. It's never bothered me - a rose and and an onion both have lots of layers. I've never gave a flying flip which one someone thought I was.

Ahhh yes, I recognize this.  Everything is nuanced.

far more advanced than the rest of us.

I have been told that I was smart enough to have PhD behind my name........

Unfortunatly for my ego, my friend continued on to say that it would stand for Piled high and Deep.....

Such is life
