I had a hard time imagining anyone renting out pasture land to someone whose cattle were possibly exposed to Brucellosis, no matter what the assurances were.

Yep - it is losing me with this cattle stuff. I dont work cattle, dont know the in's and out's so I do like a little explanation but cant imagine transporting possibly infected cattle.

They were bangs testing as they branded. They didn't address it very well but if they are moving cattle they are negative.

One thing when John returned to talk to the wife, of his friend that died on the cattle drive.  When he notified her he didn't take his hat off, the producers/directors missed that one.  A true cattlemen/cowboy would've removed his hat to deliver that kind of news.

Only thing I can figure out is the cattle going to the 6666 Ranch were brought in earlier from another rangeland therefore never contaminated on any level.     Interesting that the Park wolves can invade your land and eat your calves and you're in a boatload of trouble for killing them, but when Park bison invade your land and contaminate your herd, then your cattle will be destroyed and your personal insurance will have to take care of reimbursement.

Anybody remember a movie from the 60's with Paul Newman called Hud.  Awful scene where they had to destroy a herd with hoof and mouth disease.

Somebody help me out with something.  Tonight, Beth apparently knew nothing about the "Train Station" until Jamie talked about it during their squabble.   She approached her daddy, John about it who basically revealed its existence to her, etc...  Am I right?  So explain to me how she was waiting to ambush Jamie and photograph him as he was dumping off his dad's corpse at the train station, if she didn't know about it?  Seems to me they are getting sloppy with the plot.  I still like watching it, but it's getting to be more and more like an endless soap opera. They sure know how to keep a person sucked in to watching every episode. Now we have to wait till next summer to find out if Beth is going to get rid of Jamie for good, or if Jamie is going to keep getting sucked into that evil harlot's web and have Beth whacked.  Lot's of variations on those two possible plots.

I had this exact thought. All I could come up with was Beth followed Jamie not knowing where she followed him to and what else was there. That's why she was shocked in this episode that there were other secrets in that spot.

I saw a post on FB that they haven't even started filming the next half of this season so it could be delayed. If I had to guess they are going to get all of the attention on 1923. I feel like this season dragged and they don't know what direction they want to send the show in.

You are correct the whole thing is poorly written. Taylor has way to many projects going. Just s few things that stuck out. John couldn't wean the calves early because the trucking would kill them, but they could truck the whole herd, plus horses & cowboys.

He was going to send them somewhere where there wasn't any snow but he was sending them to the Panhandle? Then on the next show they did say it really had winter there. He's going to spen a million plus a month ???

A vet has to do Bangs testing.

They have plot going and then they just drop it and go on to something else. He doesn't complete a story line.

What was the deal with the Secret Service shooting dogs ( that was just stupid ) then they just dropped all of that.

Then somethings are just stupid

One thing you may have missed too. Kaycee and Monica were so very proud of buying their farmhouse and the dog came with it.  Then when John offered them a home if they'd stick close and help with the ranch, Monica said she knew it wasn't much of a house he was giving them, but she was tired of renting.

Yes, Taylor Sheridan has too many irons in the fire but watching Beth pick up that rock and casually break into Jamie's house makes it fun.

Did anyone catch the part a while back where someone mentioned the President to John and he said the guy was a f__ing idiot.

Yes to all of this...

The train station was a big whoops on the writers part IMO. She was waiting for him, she didnt follow him. Doesnt make any sense. I also think the cattle thing doesnt make sense and dont even get me started on the random dog shooting. I almost quit at that point.

We got to the end of Sunday's episode and my neice looks and me and says "that's it, it's over" it was the most uneventful finale I've ever seen. I've been a die hard Yellowstone fan but they've got to get their sh*t together.

The show use to be fun and I use to look forward to watching on Sunday evenings. Now it's sometimes mid week before we will remember to watch a new episode. Not sure what happened but it just got stale.

I missed how many head are they shipping to the panhandle and Colorado?  How many semis are hauling that herd?  They are planning on keeping them there for a year at $1.4 million a month.. Beth was right about John's business plan.

They'll keep me coming back because I want to see who gets whacked first, Jamie or Beth.

Well here is my opinion I feel certain I can stir up some with it.  I think a bunch of you have way too much time on your hands.  Here is a guy, I'm not sure of his motive but he is pumping a bunch of money into the industry.  I also don't see the horse market dropping like other luxury items.  Is it all because of a TV show?  I have no idea, but this guy is producing TV I enjoy watching with characters I like, and beautiful landscapes and for once horses I wouldn't mind owning.  I see people picking it apart everywhere and saying this season isn't as good.  In old westerns you got the same stage coach over and over again, nobody griped when John Wayne & Clint Eastwood rode the same horse all the time.  Anyone remember spaghetti westerns?  Did you want to ride those horses?  They look like they were ready to die.

I have a question Do all Doctors and nurses dissect Grey's Anatomy?  How about the police?  Do you really think the crime shows show all so real?  Maybe they do, I don't know, but I think you all are being a bit picky.

Maybe some of you would prefer the Real Housewives or the Kardashian's both of which I have never watched, however I never hear complaints about them.

Just my opinion but I don't want to bash the Golden Goose for the horse market right now and I enjoy that people want to be cowboys again.  It's like Urban Cowboy all over again  LOL  Taylor's a better writer with better actors, westerns are expensive to make, I give him credit.

Anyone else watch 1923? Now that has got me HOOKED. Watched the last episode last night and now it won't be on again till February.  It literally left me wanting more! Love the characters,  love the story line and I cannot wait to see where its headed. I was going to cancel paramount plus until I watched the first episode. I don't spend any of my time nit picking the story line or ponder late night that this or that doesn't make sense ... I just try to enjoy the story and characters and I do enjoy looking at the beautiful scenery. I will say there are entire Facebook pages dedicated to discussions about Yellowstone and 1923 ... you wanna really see people who have too much time on their hands??!! Lol! These folks have a family tree of the Duttons posted. Folks get into heated arguments over it and I read it for some cheap entertainment sometimes and I just shake my head that people invest so much time and thought and emotion into fictional characters

For those that don't Facebook and to give yall a little insight of the level of commitment of some of the fans (or perhaps obsessed) and definitely more time on their hands... this splashed across my feed this morning and I got a good chuckle out of reading thru some of the comments while sipping my coffee. These folks are serious!
