Location: Henryetta, OK | Last Saturday I thought it was time to take Mother and head home. The first thing I thought about was that I would get to meet you and Dan. I would be able to hang out with you and play with the babies.
That got me thorough a very rough day.
So, please accept help with your mares and foals.
Ask for help when you need it and remember we are all praying for you and Dan.
Hugs n love.

I understand all too well how over whelming cancer is. I Promise it gets easier. In the beginning there is so much information to absorb and schedules and meds, and, and, and....... But you Will get into a routine and although it is not normal it is do able. I got SO sick of hearing about losing my hair. Like that was the biggest issue. So now I am sporting some fine bandanas that I made. Today was pink and teal weanie dogs. If you decide to go that route call and I will hook you up with some cool horse or dog prints. Personally I think wigs are over rated and we should look at bald women with respect and admiration. We are the fighters!!

Location: NE Texas | Continued thoughts and prayers from here as well! I have never met you, nor have we ever visited directly on BHW, however we have both been on here from the very beginning and I have always loved reading your posts and admired your program. I had you on my mind this morning when I was getting ready for work and wanted to be sure and let you know I was thinking of you and praying for you!!!! |

The thought of a Wig just weirded me out, lol. I just wore silk scarves at first, then ball caps and when I finally got just a little bit of hair on my head I stopped wearing anything. Instead of Tough Enough to wear pink they should have shirts that say Tough Enough to Go Bald!!
That said, Meg's chemo may not cause her to loose her hair, not all chemo med's do. |
