Location: Arkansas | Checking in on "our child" and so thankful he's doing well. Continuing to pray for you and Jacob and the entire family, as I know this affects all of you in different ways.
One of my closest friends just had a baby with Downs Syndrome. Two days after Berklee was born, they realized she had an intestinal blockage. They sent her for surgery straight to AR Children's, and they have been phenomenal not only with Berklee but also to Angela and Michael (parents). So I'll agree to a shout out for our Children's Hospitals. |

Thank you, things are getting better a little at a time. She still isn't able to have anything by mouth (since the 15th, born the 13th), but she's taking baby steps towards maybe getting a bottle in the next week. And then able to come home. She's precious and a blessing. . . .

| Jacob is doing awesome. He was able to get up and use the restroom on his own this morning and they had him take a walk around the 5th floor, we made the whole loop! I'm so proud of his strength, he's being so brave! They are very impressed with him and his progress, he gets to get the epidural and the catheter out today! Then I can give him a nice warm shower and we can go for longer walks and go outside to the healing garden if he chooses. This has been a wonderful Monday morning for us! |

| He got everything removed except 1 IV. He feels so much better. I gave him a nice warm shower and he ate a good bit today as well. He even felt good enough to go to the 4th floor to play a few video games. His dr said he's 2 days ahead of schedule! So hopefully we will be headed home within the next few days. I took this picture after he had his shower.

Awww thank you. I love being by his side.. I knew I needed rest last night and a hot shower, so I had my mom stay with him, but I was absolutely miserable all night not being with him and I cried ALOT. I got to the hospital right after I dropped my other kiddos off at school. I'm staying with him tonight at the hospital and one of his Dr's just came in and said we could possibly be going home as early as tomorrow afternoon! Fingers crossed! We want our boy home! He's requested Bushs chicken for supper so my hubby went to go get it for us! |

I was gonna ask in my last post how the other children are doing.Did your daughters foot heal ok?Has this opened up your ex's eyes to his daughter and made them any better?Sometimes things like this make people open their eyes alittle wider:) I just want to say you are such a strong person,I can't imagine going thru what you have been through.I can tell you this...my entire family knows about Jacob and I update them as much as I can. |

The break in her foot has healed up, but she still has a,lot of soreness and swelling. X rays revealed nothing else was wrong so her dr wanted her back on crutches and she also begins physical therapy this week. It's been a fiasco for sure with that foot! I'd say her relationship with her father is definitely less strained and I can see them getting along better, I'm really glad for that. She's been amazing help for me during this time, she really helps me with jacob and everything else I need. I'm very proud of her. Jacobs younger brother, he's doing pretty good, I saw him for a little bit this afternoon, I made it a point to be at the house when they got home today from school. I spent a,little time with him before coming back to the hospital for the night. I think everything will get a lot better once we get to go home! |

| God is so good! Jacob is getting discharged from the hospital in about an hour! They are extremely impressed with how quickly he healed up and recovered! Yes!!! Thank you Jesus! |
