I'm embarassed to say I paid $9500 for a trailer, and a month later I have no trailer in hand. I am currently working in Afghanistan so my abilities are limited. I have now hired a lawyer and am working on finding a really good PI. I will find this woman and make her pay for this and hopefully others can get justice. Anywho I am looking for any information on this woman who came across to me as Teresa Jolly, which I now know is Lydia Culp. She said her trailer was in Helena, MT. Ohio phone number, claims to own 4 businesses. She even sent me a photo of the drivers liscense of the real Teresa Jolly from naples, fl, along with pics of the title of the trailer etc. If anyone knows a currently area/city/state... I will owe you greatly. PM welcome and prefered. Thank you. I would have your attorney contact the District Attorney in Falls County, Texas [(254) 883-1416] with your information and what happened. People who have been charged with a crime are allowed to make bond and remain out on bond as long as they do not violate bond conditions -- mainly that they commit no new crimes and keep out of trouble. I'm not sure if this particular D.A. has already filed paperwork to get her bonds in Falls County revoked because of her actions since bonding out and he/she would be interested in your story one way or another. That goes for anybody else who has been a victim of hers since her Texas arrest and bond on those charges. Thanks. My lawyer tried to get ahold of the county man who was gathering information in tx for her case back in Jan, but we can't find contact info for him. I will just have him contact the DA there. I appreciate the assistance very much. She contacted me this am (evening for you guys in the us ), and said they (she says she has a lawyer ) will contact my lawyer in the morning, "I want this settled" That's funny, I've been begging you to make this right for a month. People... sigh
Lydia contacted you? Blows my mind she is still at large... |

Location: Fort Worth / Springtown | This is crazy, maddening, yet so sad. So sad that a woman is so lost and deceitful and doesn't know how to live in truth. And then there are her innocent victims.....
Someone close to me many years ago stole a lot from me. I was far form the first victim, but had no idea. One incident I called the cops and filed a report and the officer was irritated that he was having to do the report - he told me he wasn't going to arrest him - he'd charge him with $2.50 cent theft of a stolen checkbook. This guy emptied a bank account. He connedt for years and finally got arrested over 19 years ago, then arrested again and again, sent to Texas prison, released, stole again and again and now is in a Federal prison. It's ridiculous - the openings they see for a possible monetary gain - Breyer model horses were taken out of the trunk of my car and returned for money. A two piece skirt/blouse outfit I had was returned to the store and the "reason for return" he wrote on the receipt ----- "doesn't go with my eyes."
They are sick.
By the way -- if you have bills to pay....take it to a postal drop box or inside the post office - don't put a check in your personal mailbox with the flag up. Or birthday cards with money or gift cards....

Location: Cocoa, Florida | I was actually just thinking of her the other day, my friend bought a nice ranch broke horse sight unseen from a young man in Texas who was moving to the Ocala, Fl area, they shipped the horse to Florida and she picked him up. He was super skiddish, she specified she wanted a super broke ranch gelding that her grandkids could ride so that was out for sure. Anyway long story short her husband rode him and out of no where broke into a raging lunatic bronc breaking his arm when he hit the ground.
She called the guy and loaded the gelding up and headed to Ocala where he promised to ride him and sell him for the $3500 she paid. He has yet to pay her and never responds to calls or texts. So she pretty much wrote him off. |

| I know she did not show up for her court date for the Falls County, TX horse issue. The cops showed up at my house looking for her a few weeks back. She gave them my address when her sorry mother, Teresa Jolly, bailed her out of jail for the thousandth time! Nothing like getting woke up on a Sunday morning at the butt crack of dawn with 3 sheriff's deputies with 3 cars in my drive way.
I told them that she was living somewhere up North and that I had not seen her in 3 years. She will never be caught and even one of the deputies stated he does not know why she is not locked up for all of the things she has done. I was shocked to hear that coming from law enforcement. Well, it doesn't seem anyone cares about all the things she has done especially the judicial system. |

People like this are pros we bought a mare years ago from a guy who continues to rip people off. They live in one state, you in another and they have you take position of the item in another state. That way it throws all the state filing off. It's hard to say which state has jurisdiction or the case. We hired a lawyer & talked to a couple of judges and still couldn't ever get anywhere. |

It's hard to say which state has jurisdiction or the case. We hired a lawyer & talked to a couple of judges and still couldn't ever get anywhere. I think the problem is she commits a crime in one county, moves states or counties, commits the same or similar offense in a different county and that is why the crimes aren't stacking up against her. It's treated as one, one time offense because it's in different counties or states. Kind of like when you get a ticket in a certain county for say running a stop light. Well, once the ticket is dismissed or paid you are on a probation period in that county only for 30-90 days depending on the county. If you get a ticket in the same county for running another stop light your consequences for running the second stop light increase. But if you do it in a neighboring county it's the same slap on the wrist as the first offense because technically, to that county it IS a first offense. While at the same time, if you run a stop SIGN in the same county as the first offense it's considered another first offense. Even tho it's pretty much the same thing it isn't TECHNICALLY the same thing. Hope that makes sense. I think this is why nothing is adding up for her. She's figured out the loop hole in the system. And it is a BIG loop hole.

This is 100% true and the real reason people like her can get by so long. And then throw in the differences of misdemeanor vs. felonies per each state and individual county statutes ... Then you've got the problem of extradition, not going to happen on a misdemeanor for sure and even felonies it's not easy like in the movies - these people learn to evade the system for a long, long time.
What blows my mind is that she hasn't p*ssed off the wrong person - at least yet. Because it would probably be more likely someone "deals" with her themself before the law ever gets her truly locked up. |

Here is a check Jones Performance Horses sent me but it was addressed to the wrong person and they never sent a correct one. Using her boyfriends business and signing her name it seems.

Location: North of where I want to be | What i can tell you at this point is the past few days have been hectic and there are several people who need thanked as their attention to detail has open the doors for others including myself to hopefully see justice.
There was a major drug raid in the Northfield Ohio area, her & her boyfriend were both taken in. She is currently in jail in the Solon City jail but will be transported to Summit County. From my understanding this is very far reaching. I am still trying to find my horse, due to somewonderful people on FB we believe we have a location. If you have ever dealt with her and been scammed I strongly encourage you to reach out to law enforcement in your area. If you have tips for those of us who have been scammed, please we all work hard for what we have, a phone call can change a life. Personally I would like to thank Caldwell saddles, Charon Caldwell as an innocent inquiry on a saddle value opened up a door that however heart wrenching may mean at least a few of us get some justice. |

Location: Cocoa, Florida | A guy here in Florida just posted something today warning people about how they tried to scam her. Does anyone know her boyfriends name? Or previous boyfriends? My friend bought a horse last year and turned out to be a maniac, so she returned him and never got her money or another horse back. |
