Wow, I finally read this, this guy is a dick. What a ma-roon. Let's talk about the show that I helped put together and put it down as much as I can - is he trying to save face?
**The hard road would have been to actively go after the original cast that included a gay barrel racer who had to act straight because gays are not warmly welcomed in the rodeo. Or the mom who uses rodeo to deal with the stress of a son with cancer and the millionaire heiress to UPS who can drink, fight, and f*ck better than most of the guys in the circuit. That show will never be seen.**
Uh, what? Since when are gay guys not welcome in rodeo? Hell, they are practically running the show everywhere except the WPRA. And who the hell uses rodeo to deal with stress? It is stress and if you have a son with cancer most people I know - rodeo or not - would be helping said son, not running rodeos. I don't know who the UPS heiress is, does she exist? And if she does I'm sure she really enjoyed his description of her. He sounds like a real winner, no wonder the show could have been better, it's being run by this guy. |

You can go to A&E's website. They have free episodes of Rodeo
Girls. You can watch the most recent one the day after it airs on TV. That's how I watch both DD and Rodeo Girls. |

Exactly what I thought when I read that article!! He sure sounds like a non-stereotyping/judgemental winner. (sarcasm)
Also he made these comments after all the backlash over the promo so I am sure he wanted to separate himself from it as fast as he could so what better way then to write a dribble article like this?? |
