Location: North of where I want to be | Folks the word is the law is trying to amass as many of the scam vicitims info as they can. They want to make this Federal.
Please have your info in order, dates items with descriptions, police reports filed etc.
There is a very diligent detective working this case who understands what we are all going thru.

Location: South Central Florida | Just curious if there are any updates and if she has had an arrainment? I will not be suprised if she ends up with a bond, and is released. She has been arrested and actually in jail several times and walked away. I guess knowing her personally (years ago) forces my curiosity. I was never scammed by her but Iv never been in a position to have it happen. Will be following this story.

| Here is the link to the Summit County Jail. She has a quarter of a million dollar bond and a whole slew of charges.

I just spoke Det. Donato...please be patient, and persistent.
He is slightly overwhelmed by how many people have been scammed in the horse world however he is determined to see her held accountable.
Also They were using the name Alpha Decking & Construction as well.

Actually she was raised well. BUT the apple didn't fall far from the maternal tree. But not raised poor, or abused. Her sister is a wonderful amazing young woman with an equally amazing family. But live about as far away as possible, and zero contact with sister. |

The detective states that if you have dealt with her or Kenny( ie if they came together to pick up a horse) you need to list him in the police report as well.
They have a massive amount of items to inventory and plan to do so to try to return anything they can to anyone they can. This is a process that will take time.
There are several people with horses that came from her who are now very concerned that they may be in possession of someone else's stolen horse. I do believe their is a national organization in the process of setting up a way to help both law & victims sort that part out. As soon as I am allowed to post it I will. These folks are professionals.

Location: North of where I want to be | And a side note, in the time I have had my horse back I have been contacted by 4 different people who Lydia tried to sell him to. Also a lesson learned, if someone (even if they do not own the horse) insures a horse, you cannot also insure the horse.
The insurance agency cannot tell me anything about the policy or when it expires, how much it is for etc since it is in Lydia's name, however the insurance company and agency once given her information did decide to assist me and insure my horse, but this is another thing she did. |
